Definitely worth it
In the beginning this product and I had a love hate relationship. I started building it using the BILT app and messed up the first few steps and made irreversible damages to the side panels. I even made trips to Home Depot in hopes that I could salvage some of the pieces but had no luck. Luckily, the company was nice enough to send me replacement parts that arrived only 4 short days later. I was able to then put it together and finished the assembly. My biggest advice is to take your time when building and use both the instructions that it comes with in the package and the BILT app. The app is super easy to follow and has visual photo references. Don’t let the other reviews misguide you, I was able to build this product by myself and only used a hand screw driver. I think if you use anything other than that, then you will most likely damage some pieces. Patience is key, but it was worth it and the overall look is amazing, especially the glossy outer pieces. Thank you for the replacement pieces!

IKEA is a better option.
Wanted the IKEA MALM but they were out of stock on the color so found this as an alternative. It took a little over a week to get here. Came in 2 boxes that are super heavy. Opened the boxes to get this put together, after downloading the app and looking at the unorganized mess of a bag of hardware and wondering what I had gotten myself into. Pulled out the boards in the first box and the bottom board was bent up on the corner. There is no way this board can be salvaged to be used. I had opened both boxes at the same time so decided to look at the other boxes contents, pulled up the first board, the top of the dresser and it’s cracked down the middle of the board on the underside. I didn’t even bother picking up the rest of the pieces because I wouldn’t be able to get them back in the box to put them in a corner to await the answer from the company. This dresser is also super glossy. Something I wasn’t aware of. Not totally opposed to it being shiny but not exactly what I had in mind. Moral of the story, if you are wanting the IKEA MALM and it’s out of stock and looking for an alternative, wait for it to come back in stock at IKEA. They separate their hardware and send you super easy instructions so it’s not so overwhelming when you have to put it together. I have contacted the company, moments after I discovered the 2 damaged pieces, need to check the contents of the other box to see if there are more. I got a response that it’s the weekend and they will get back to me first thing Monday morning. If this wasn’t so incredibly heavy and hard to put back in the box and seal up, I would tell them to take it back and get a refund. I wasn’t looking forward to putting it together to begin with but a big bag of unorganized hardware and an app on a phone is not my idea of easy.

Very similar to ikea
This dresser will take about the same amount of time to build as an ikea one. Also, is made from the same material as ikea furniture so it can chip if you're not careful while building it, but can be an easy fix with some white paint or putty. It looks very good in my bedroom and can hold a tv on top of it no issue. It has pretty good sized drawers as well. It looks almost identical to the malm 6 drawer dresser ikea sells but not as expensive, and shipping was free as compared to ikea's if you don't live close to one.

Phenomenal Dresser, Hard Build
This dresser is worth every penny. Typically, I don’t write reviews but I’d suggest this to anyone wanting a white dresser with a glossy finish. They’re super hard to find and it looks stunning in person. HOWEVER. I do want to mention a couple of things. First, if you’re looking for a quick build… this is not for the faint of heart. Myself and my boyfriend spent probably 5 hours total. This comes with a 3D manual on the BILT app that was super helpful (highly recommend), the instructions aren’t hard, it just takes awhile. Secondly, this thing is HEAVY. It was delivered in 2 separate boxes, each probably 150+ lbs, not a huge deal but, this is not a one man task to build or to carry, especially up or down stairs. Absolutely worth the work and it looks like a minimalist luxury piece of furniture for a quarter of the price. LOVE IT!

EDIT after owning for one year…
EDIT: it’s been over a year now since I bought this. The gloss is still great, drawers still work. However, I had to take away a star because poor quality really showed. My bottom two drawers don’t close properly anymore. The bottom wood piece is flimsy, it doesn’t hold up anymore. So I had to McGuyver a piece of plastic under the drawer (because I can’t take the drawers apart to super glue) so the wood piece doesn’t catch preventing it from closing. Sometimes I have to reach underneath and still push up. It’s very annoying. You def get what you pay for. I’m only taking one star off bc the top four drawers still work….for now. Got this last week. Did not know it was coming in TWO separate packages, so it was kind of a pain to unwrap everything, realize it was only half the material and have to wait four days for the second package. I have to contact seller for the tracking info - they responded in a timely manner. Overall, it was somewhat straightforward. I tried to assemble it on my own, but did need help near the end turning the frame upright and then downward, and then upright again. The gloss on the drawers is VERY nice though. It looks so high quality. My only annoyance is the drawers. They’re a great size, but only pull out halfway. Wish i could pull the drawers to at least 3/4 length. Otherwise, it’s great! Everything came correctly, no missing pieces, extra nails included, and great finish.

We bought the 6 drawers' dresser, when it came, the big piece had small cracked, as soon as we called support, they FedExed quickly. Also, the rep. on the phone was very nice, supportive. We are so lucky to have the app for how to install. It is very beautiful art piece furniture. We love it! Thanks!

Worst product I’ve purchased on Amazon
First of all this product arrives in two shipments with no indication. The seller did not answer my questions about this. The parts arrived with several chips and cracks. The seller did not respond to my questions about replacement parts. Construction is complicated for such cheap material (particle board and laminate) and - the worst thing about this item - the parts are poorly fabricated. The holes made for various cam locks are not even or flush, so just putting the dresser together causes damage. The clips made to hold the cheap paneling at the bottom of the drawer just give way when any weight is added. I have one drawer on this dresser set that is unusable, and another on the way. I’ve had the product for 7 months and it is a huge disappointment. Only pros are that it looks fine if you squint and ignore the broken drawers, the finish is good and accurate to pictures. Not worth the dysfunctional piece, however. Buyer beware.
