The box was a little damaged when it arrived, but all the pieces were in good condition aside from one tiny spot on the corner of the top which is pretty unnoticeable unless you're looking for it. The instructions were easy to understand, all the parts were labeled clearly. The screws all matched up well with the holes. It took me about 1.5 hours to put it all together. You will need a phillips head screwdriver, I would recommend one with a magnetic tip, and a flashlight also helps when installing the doors. I wouldn't recommend using a drill to avoid over-tightening and cracking. There are not a lot of extra fasteners, so you'll need to be careful not to misplace anything. Overall, I think it looks nice for the price - all pieces have the wood grain on both sides so you don't have ugly pressboard showing anywhere. We have this in a bedroom, so I probably would have liked it to be just a couple inches taller in height, but it's fine. The legs are solid wood, and once it was all together I didn't notice any wobbling. Our 50" television fits nicely on it. ... show more

This is much nicer than I anticipated, given the price and the fact it has to be assembled. I assembled it by myself in about an hour, directions were easy to follow and every part was clearly labeled. I liked that even the edges that do not face out are finished, not left rough. The only weird thing is that the legs are a different shade than the main cabinet, they are much lighter. But overall I couldn't be happier with this piece. I love this TV stand. It looks so beautiful and I love the gold hardware. The doors are soft close which makes this feel very high quality. It was very easy to put this together (you will need a screw driver). My only complaint with this piece is there were some chips and dents (thankfully they're not in highly visible areas). But other than that, I do love this TV stand and would recommend it. ... show more

I’m really happy with this purchase. For the price, you can't beat the value. The Highlights: Assembly: This was surprisingly easy to put together! The instructions were clear, and it didn't take much effort at all, which I really appreciated. The Fit: I’m using this for my 65-inch TV. There is a little bit of overhang on the sides since the TV is wider than the stand, but it’s not too bad at all. I actually prefer the way it looks because it doesn't take up too much floor space. Sturdy & Functional: Even with the slight overhang, the stand feels very sturdy and solid. There is a good amount of storage space for the size of the unit. Comfort: The height is great. I’d actually give this a 3.5/5 stars. I like the aesthetic of it, it’s super cute. It’s not as tall as I expected, but that’s totally my fault for not measuring out the height prior to purchase. My complaint: it’s very wobbly and doesn’t feel “secure”. I have a 55” inch tv on it, and I have to be extra careful whenever I dust. If you have pets or young kids that like to run into things, do not get this tv stand. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Other than that, I like it. Putting it together was somewhat easy. I recommend using a drill, rather than tightening everything by hand. ... show more
