The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This has been a great first SUP for me. I was drawn to the “yoga” aspect of the board, figured yoga on a SUP could 100% benefit my “land” yoga balance. One thing about this board that is different than about 95% of all the other inflatable SUPs that I see is the double handle- rather than having one handle in the middle, it has one on each side. I am not sure if that is a PRO or a CON in the long run- but if your goal is to practice yoga on your board, you will probably find not having a handle right in the middle of your “mat” to be a great thing! PROS: Being brand new to paddle boarding, I was extremely impressed by how easy it was to maneuver the board and quickly move around the lake. After a few minutes of practicing on my knees, I felt grounded enough to graduate up to “standing”. I recently took my 17 year old daughter out on the board with me and we had a great time. The board maneuvered the same as when it was just me. Our combined weight is about 260lbs- I think this SUP can hold up to 330 lbs (don’t quote me on that!). CONS: the storage/carrying bag that comes with is crap. After hauling it out to the lake twice; a strap broke. Based on pictures, the bag that comes with this specific board definitely looks like a downgrade compared to this brands other boards/bags. I plan on purchasing a new bag eventually. The paddle also seems fairly poor quality, BUT it gets the job done. This doesn’t surprise me, it’s a basic beginner paddle board “kit” so none of the accessories are top of the line. It works for now but hope to upgrade eventually to a better paddle. Last con- the hand pump for this board (it looks like this doesn’t apply to the other boards from this brands) does NOT have a gauge for the PSI. So you have to guesstimate; hopefully it’s full enough so the board is stable, but not overdone where you will risk popping your board! Overall, I am VERY happy with my first SUP. Once I learn better what I am wanting out of my SUP, I would like to upgrade- but this will happily work for quite awhile while I am figuring that out and eventually be an amazing 2nd SUP to have for friends & family to use.

Our paddleboard by Tuxedo Sailor has been remarkably durable; even at full inflation, we have had no issues or problems. Our kids primarily use it and have even rammed it into rocks and dragged it across the beach and rocky shores. They are harsh on it, but never lose pressure, have ripped, or leaked. I find it to be a comfortable ride and easy to use. I am not as good at paddleboarding or balancing as my kids are, and I tend to fall a lot, and indeed, its softness has helped with that. This has excellent stability and rarely flips over. The setup was easy, but it does take some time to inflate using the pump. The pump itself isn’t that bad and is easy to pack into the travel and storage bag. It, like most inflatable paddleboards, requires a lot of air to get fully inflated, so be prepared for that. We don’t deflate it much, just once so far for the winter. Adding the back fins is extremely simple; they slide right in and feature a locking pole that secures them in place. In the months we have been using it, we’ve never lost a lock or a fin in the water. I don’t have much negative to say about the paddleboard. It is well-priced, offering good value for the money. All of the parts and pieces are well-made and of excellent quality. We’ve had the board for two seasons now, and it has held up well so far. That paddle is sturdy and strong. Even the backpack is well-made, with thicker material, excellent stitching, and components. It feels safe and has been secure in the water, which has encouraged our kids to use it more often. It is a smaller size, but that means it is more manageable. You don’t get many extras with it, such as fishing rod mounts or seat attachments. However, if you are interested in starting paddleboarding or have younger kids who are, this is a great entry-level board. It certainly has been for us, and with the price being so reasonable, we could take a chance on it, and I am delighted we did.

My experience has been interesting so far. The paddle board was packed with all the additional items on top, loosely fit, but in a small enough box that kept it snug. Only major issue I had (reason for -1 star) was that I could not get the pump connector to fit properly into the board to pump it up. I do have an auto pump with a gauge specific for paddle-boards so that worked perfect. I tried different washers and even took off the washer and still it would not twist into place. If I didnt already have an alternative, I would have spent more time to figure that out but you may need a lot of elbow grease to get the included plastic pump to work for you. I filled it to 12PSI no problem and the board filled out perfect. The fins fit nicely into the board. The board has a mount point (female screw hole) on the front for go-pro's and/or other cameras that fit. Nice touch. This board also has a mount point on the rear for the ankle strap... What it doesnt have: It does NOT have multiple anchor points on the sides, rear strap, or a center stabilizer fin (like some other boards). None of these really matters unless you like to use the sides for the ankle strap or need to tie down something else. I cant speak to how it will hold up as the construction and inflator connection is different from my other board (smaller width of PVC along the sides and small gaps around where the valve is sewn in). I havent used it yet for comparison but will update this if there are any key issues to pass along.
