The only things that I can think of that I dislike is that if you're doing the barrel of the wheel a lot of product is used especially if you haven't done them before or for a long time so that the barrels are caked on with black dust. Since first using this product until I got them clean I do the wheels about 3-4 times per year and they stay relatively clean and the wheels look much better. I don't know how many people besides me even notice the barrel of my wheels but I sure do. The other thing is that I bought the proper brushes made for the purpose of cleaning the barrels of the wheels . That alone will make the job much easier and I've found that less product is used. In between a real good cleaning 3 or 4 times per year I clean them by just spraying this Iron remover and cleaner between the outside spokes and onto the barrels , let it sit as directed and spray it off with good pressure from your hose. This product works great. Particularly in the spring I will get those little golden brown spots of the lower sides of the doors of my cars and the iron pretty much disappears with a good rinse off. ... show more

My daughter’s car had very bad brake dust buildup on the wheels and was not wanting to come off at all. This stuff cut right through it. Highly recommend. Wiped right off after sitting for a few mins. Then just sprayed off the wheels.

It does exactly what it should do and very well. Make sure to follow the directions and do not let it dry, cause you’re tired will turn brown. But it’s an easy fix with another round of sprays and a little scrubbing. The only thing is, it smells, like bad. Smells like you’re spraying Nair on your car. Make sure to wear pants and gloves and the wind isn’t blowing in your face because you will not be able to get the stink off. You have been warned! ... show more

I don't understand why they say this is low fumes, because it's awful!! It smells VERY strongly of ammonia. That smell burnt into my sinuses for over a day, and made me sick for the whole 4th of July weekend. Make sure you wear an odor blocking mask when you use this. But, otherwise, this stuff works really well on getting brake dust off your wheels. I don't know if I'll use this again, or just got a different brand that doesn't smell like there was a hazmat accident. The odor takes off 2 stars on my review. ... show more

This product is amazing! I had brake dust caked on my rims for 3 years now. I was scared of what might be lurking under the surface. After replacing my brakes and rotor I decided to buy this product based on other reviews. This thing did a great job of making it easy to take the brake dust off, took a couple of hours because it was really caked on. I used a sponge because it has more friction than a microfiber cloth.
