Why did you pick this product vs others?: Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but i got nothing like the pictures in the reviews. The scratches are not getting masked, and paint transfer are still visible. At least, it did not damage the paint, and application is not so visible so 3 stars.

I'm not an expert, but despite the challenges of keeping black cars clean, I've owned them for years. I hand wash them and treat minor scratches myself. This product will only 'remove' the very slightest smudges/scratches. It will however make any scratch or swirl mark look significantly better. As long as it's NOT down to the paint, or completely through the clear coat. It's simply not possible. I use this product with the 'by hand' instructions for all minor scratches and door dings. Be sure to limit your application to the smallest area possible (e.g. only the scratch). Apply just enough pressure - best way to do this is start light, then slightly increase pressure as needed on secondary applications. After using this product I apply a standard car wax paste. The scratches are still there and noticeable because I know exactly where they're at. But if you ask someone to find the spot on your car it will be difficult for them. They won't be able too, or they'll have to look very closely. So to the casual observer, your car will look great if you use the product correctly and have realistic expectations. ... show more

I’m a big fan of Turtle Wax for my cars. The Hybrid Solutions line especially. This one, however, is a massive fail for me and a big disappointment. Not only did it not remove surface scratches and light swirls, it actually added more for me. I used this on a dark blue car with extremely poor results no matter what pad, method, or applicator I tried. It is extremely abrasive and sandy like an extreme rubbing compound. This thing really works, it will easily remove scratches or contact paint off vehicle. I’m on my second bottle and I’m blown away at how good this stuff is.
