I'll update this if anything changes and try to a yr from now if still great condition. These are the first real gaming controllers we have tried other than some old used Turtle Beaches which were way behind these. All the regulars or even good on sale ones were the same quality. I have high hopes for these. They have a completely different ability. They have multiple set up options so different players can find what works for them. The fight pad makes me want to bust out some Mortal combat. Bet it'd be dope on Tony Hawk too. You can set the triggers for sensitivity on the controller for quicker responses and not having to push the RB,RT, etc buttons all the way down. This enhances gaming. The back buttons already have given faster and better performance on a few games. I am still getting use to them on COD series. Sometimes I find them very helpful while other times I accidentally hit them as an old school button smashed. I always had a death grip on the controller due to lifelong arthritis issues, so I am learning not to grip it where the back buttons are. The joysticks use magnets which should prevent the quick stick grip issues of common controllers. The cheap ones like $60-120 all seem to get it with in 3 months where your character is constantly walking left or some direction, or worse it's the right one that is spinning. This build may bypass that all together! Excited to find there may be a solution. Plus not having to replace controllers every 3-6 months would be amazing! Impressive set up. Love the customization options. Any gamer can adapt. Also comes with a very sturdy case, which definitely protects your controllers from all sorts of trouble and trauma. It may take a bit of adjustment if you arent use to these, but its worth it. No wonder they are called BFG. These are a game changer! ... show more

Best controller I have ever used, I love the less clicky d-pad, it looks great on my desk when I'm not using, great price for such an outstanding product, works with my Xbox, and any PC that I've tried it with I've dropped it a few times and it's still in great condition, it has so much customizability, I mean heck it's got a fightpad option. And if you want to you can use it wired, not just wirelessly. The Hall effect sticks mean I will never get stick drift. ... show more

To start off. I am an old school gamer since the days of the 1st Nintendo. So I have experienced every console systems controllers, Nintendo, Sega MS, SuperNes, Genesis, N64, GameCube, Saturn, Dreamcast, Ps1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Xbox, XB360, XB1, Jaguar, etc. Literally every system. The price of this controller is REALLY intimidating, but what came with it DEFINITELY changed my mind. This controller is very comfortable, my favorite part of this controller is having the ability to change around how it feels, not just setting macros in order for it to work right. I love having the ability to switch out the d-pad, and also how it sits in the controller. The battery life is decent when fully charged, and it allows you to change up the triggers from a full press/pull to a button like every other one. My only gripe with it probably is just a user issue, but my middle, ring and pinky fingers hit the buttons on the back of the controller a lot and it causes me to mess up in games sometimes, not catastrophic, but a bit annoying. At the end of the day I highly recommend getting your kids or yourself this controllerm its price, while a bit high for my taste, isnt an overcharge to the consumer. You'll get your money's worth out of this thing. 9/10 ... show more

This is a great controller with just a few issues. First, the rumble causes the controller to make a very loud noise when active. I know most controllers do vibrate some, but this seems more than usual. I did adjust settings in the app but not a ton of difference. Second, they need to rethink the trigger stops. Having a slider with clear steps is much more preferable than the current solution. Multiple times I've accidentally locked out my triggers with an accidental push on the button on the back. Last, I really wish I had gotten a black controller as this one seems to love getting dirty. Aside from that, everything else is awesome. It fits my hands great, just like the Razer Wolverine 8k. Being able to change the stick layout is fun, but after a while I moved it back to the Xbox layout. I haven't tried the 6 button face option yet. ... show more

I want to preference this by saying when I originally bought the first one, it was ok. But when I saw that the price went down the day after, I returned the original and bought the second one. Oh man, I think I legitimately received a defective controller. To start off, I charged this controller for hours, and it only lasted for maybe 45 minutes before the battery ran out. Then, when I tried using an emulator in the 6 button configuration, it refused to acknowledge the rb and rt buttons face buttons. And when it finally did come in, either one of the buttons or both would cycle in not working. Also when I was using the 8 way dpad, it would sometimes become loose during gameplay since the magnet or outline for the dpad is not strong enough and I couldn't jump diagonally anymore in fighting games unless I kept trying pushing the dpad back in place within the grooves. Also, I'm not a fan that the 6 button configuration buttons barely depress down when you press on them. It doesn't feel good at all and it feels like I'm pressing down on pegs that are already stuck to the ground. Also I don't know why the rb and rt buttons have to double on there. It would've been better of the rb and rt face buttons were "C" and "Z" like the sega saturn and the "RB and "RT" buttons as it's own buttons. I want to like this controller since it has the 6 button configuration and it's layout is perfect for fighting games along with playing sega saturn and Nintendo 64 games since they share a similar layout. But there is too many problems with this expensive controller, when the flydigi vader 4 or 5 pro not only has those extra face buttons, but it's half the price and sometimes even more . And the flydigi dpad magnet is very strong in comparison to this controller. I hope turtle beach gets their act together and just gives us one day a dedicated 6 button controller, with 4 shoulder buttons and 2 joysticks. It’s smaller than the elite & very very but once you get use to it, you’ll love it. Well worth the price & the customization is endless. The triggers can be very very sensitive, but just takes time to get use to it. I use it pretty regularly for FPS & had zero stick drift. 10/10.

This controller's buttons feel great! Except for the placement and extra back buttons that were on it. The width of the controller itself is wider by a bit compared to the original Xbox controller, and the added back buttons make this controller unwieldy for longer gaming sessions. My hands aren't small, so I can handle the regular controller just fine. This one is just uncomfortable, making my hands ache just holding it. It isn't a bad controller! I love the modular design, but if I can't hold this thing and get comfortable with it, then that beats the point, no? I forgot about the left and right triggers; those were also uncomfortable, even when I fiddled with the adjustments on them. (Kept comparing the original and this, until I just went back to the OG) Overall, for my experience? I'd just keep ordering the regular controller. I've had a prior experience with a Razer Xbox variant, and, since it's been a while, let's see if they've improved since 2019. Apparently, not the same issues are present whether it's Turtle Beach or Razer behind the kitchen; these guys can't seem to get it right. ... show more
