I was looking to find more in depth information about options in utilizing retirement funds to invest into a new business opportunity, the pros and cons, and came across Mr. Bergman's book. It was incredibly helpful as an independent source of information, especially because this is a very complex topic and one that should not be taken lightly. My husband and I had received different advice from different ERISA/Tax lawyers and tax professionals, and as someone who likes to understand the details and the fine print, I wanted to learn more about the rules directly in order to make informed decisions on our business. We have worked in the finance industry for many years, but this was our first journey into starting a small business in the franchise world, and we wanted to make sure we did things the right way. The book is written in the form of a dialogue between a man who is interested in investing in a business and an attorney, who is a colleague/friend of the man's wife, who provides advice on the various options available, the benefits and drawbacks of each option. By writing the book in this clever format, the author makes it easier to digest tax law, and helps you determine which structure may or may not be a good idea for your situation. Excellent book. So happy to have found it. If you decide to utilize any of these structures, please make sure to do your own homework to know the pros, cons, and have the right experts involved in your business plan and strategy to have a proper funding strategy for entry, ongoing compliance and an exit strategy for when you retire, or sell the business. ... show more

Repeats a lot from his first two books. No new info until page 190 or so. That was good stuff but the rest is a waste. If you can only get one, choose this one and don't bother with the first two
