I love this pattern so much!! I took forever to choose the right, duvet cover, and I’m so glad I went with this. I didn’t want solid white-just too much for me and makes me nervous to keep it white lol! This way, I can change out sheets/pillows to add in whatever color I want. I love this bohemian vibe! I was able to put this on the fine doing the roll technique (check YouTube-Rachel Ray duvet!) This particular duvet has a smaller opening along the bottom. I do prefer that, I don’t want it being open all the way across the bottom. There are ties in each of the four corners, however, they don’t seem to be that secure. I have a feeling they will end up breaking at some point. I do wish there were more ties, I’d like to have them in the middle areas as well to help keep it in place as I have a heavy duvet insert and just in case any of the ties do break, it it would give some extra hold. As far as the feel of it, it’s still new, so it just feels like a new duvet cover. Crisp and fresh! I do plan to wash it, I just wanted to put it on, and make sure everything went well before I washed, in case I had to return it. I am very pleased with my purchase! The hours and hours I spent searching for the perfect duvet cover, has paid off!
