This bag was my second choice. I liked the look of another Tumi backpack better but found it a little too small for my work laptop, so I got this one instead. So far, so good. Pros: - Mink color with gold hardware is beautiful, less boring than black but a great-looking neutral, very professional. This is a color that can look a little strange online, but in person, it's really nice. - Dedicated laptop compartment, my work computer is an HP Elitebook (about 14") and it fits comfortably. - Padded shoulder straps. Some of the "professional" backpacks only have leather straps, but these are nicely padded. - Lots of cubbies and pockets for different items. Other than a laptop, I carry a tablet, compact umbrella, wallet/purse and lunch, and they all fit in this bag. The side pockets are big enough to hold water bottles without being the mesh material you find on camping backpacks. - For me, not being leather is a plus, the nice nylon is better. I walk to public transportation in hot weather, and this bag is replacing a high-quality leather bag that struggled in the heat with color running and a rubbery sealer on the edges of the leather melting. Not being leather also means it weighs less, and for a bag that has a leather version available too, costs less. Speaking of cost... Cons: - Cost. I say you get $1 of value every time you use/wear something, so if I carry this bag every work day starting Oct 2018, I need to keep using it through March 2020 to be worth the price. I probably will use it that long, so it will probably work out, but it's awfully expensive for a backpack. Overall this is a really nice backpack and I highly recommend it.

I use mine everyday and I love it! It’s the perfect size and super durable, the look is classic and it doesn’t wear easily. Plus Tumi has amazing service, so I can trust that I will have this bag for a long time. Oh and I forgot to mention...I’m one of those people who carries a bag that weighs a ton, as in other people flinch when they pick it up because it’s so heavy. And when I travel I pack to the max, but the straps are like new and the zippers work like a dream. So if mine has held up fine yours certainly will.

This is my 5th tumi bag and I would never purchase another brand. It is light, very well made, durable, roomy and I love the look. I have bought other brands and use them once or twice. Every bag I've purchased from Tumi I've used repeatedly for years. They never lose the fresh look and never fall apart. Worth every penny... Although I really wish they were a bit less expensive!

I love this backpack because it holds all my electronics and travel essentials. The shoulder traps are durable and comfortable. It has pockets for almost everything. I would love a side pocket for my travel mug. its sturdy and has a classic design. My last Tumi lasted 8 years. I get on and off a lot of airplanes and this is my go to bag. Also fits both under the seat and in the overhead easily. To find it on Amazon at lower price was a great deal. ❤️❤️❤️

I can't say enough about this backpack. I travel a lot for work and need something comfortable, but also professional for the boardroom. After a lot of missteps, this bag finally meets the mark on both. It looks professional with the black and gold zippers and matches my Tumi roller bag. There are so many pockets for storage and separation of belongings. I use it for work and personal use and don't leave home without it. It is definitely worth the investment as it has a warranty and will hold up over time.

I travel between locations during my workday and needed a bag that looks professional and is easy on my bad neck. I've had a lot of bags over the years and probably should have ordered this bag a year ago, but was put off by the price. The design is well thought out and has enough pockets/compartments to be useful without being confusing. I love the location of the laptop pocket, as it keeps the weight of my computer close to my body. The light grey interior is great for visualizing the contents-I can actually find things down in the bottom of the bag. My FAVORITE feature on this bag is the hidden cell phone pocket-it's easy to get my phone in and out, even when the bag is on my back. It's nice to have a secure place for it that doesn't require me to unzip anything. The front lower pocket has enough room for my cord and a small bag I carry that has a portable mouse and earpiece. The upper pocket is perfect for pens. The fabric is nice looking, but I can tell it's going to hold up to rain and stains, although I've only had it about a month. My only negative for the bag is the length of the straps. I have them shortened as far as they can go and they're perfect when I have both straps on my back, but I often carry a backpack over one shoulder and I like to shorten the strap a little further....also, I'm 5 foot 8 and I would think that someone much shorter might find the straps too long.

There is not one thing I would change about this bag. I use this bag everyday for work items storage during travel and in my home for work organization.. It is so durable, well made, and attractive. It has just the right amount of storage compartments for my electronics and work/personal needs. I really like the light inside color for locating things. The outside material is easy to clean if needed. Don’t hesitate to buy this backpack.
