Our miniature schnauzer really likes this toy and carries it around often. The stitching and fabric has stayed together well (she can be quite rough on toys), but the rope tail has started to unravel like most do. If your pup is more into tug-o-war, this toy would be ideal, but its maybe not the best for pups who are chewers like our schnauzer. ... show more

I love this dog toy. Its super cute and my dog loves it as well. It has a little pocket in the belly button for some treats as well. Super fun and cute toy for your dogs.

I do dog sitting and love to have a variety of toys for my guests. This toy is very cute, but is not suitable for agressive chewers. Actually, I take that back, it's not suitable for medium chewers either. I presented this toy to a lab mix who had a mild interest in toys. She took a liking to this donkey but within minutes chewed off one of the feet and ate it. This worried me very much and I took the toy away from her. I certainly don't want pieces of toys to be easily removed and ingested. It will depend on the dog if they will destroy this toy or not, but I can't take the risk of injuring a pet in my care. I cannot recommend this unless you really know your pet and their chewing tendencies. ... show more

This is a really nice size, even for my big, 100 pound Lab mix. He really likes all of the various textures. He’s already quite smitten with this and I haven’t even put treats in the “navel”, yet! lol. My big boy is very respectful of all of his toys, so he is not destructive. I can’t speak to the durability of this for dogs that play hard with their toys. Considering the price of other dog toys and my dog’s enjoyment while playing with this, it is well worth the price. ... show more
