Grab your boat and float to the deep to find the elusive Hammerhead. Great fun for everyone. Fun to fetch, tug and whip around at your dogs leisure. Great for indoors, machine washable, and it floats. Tuffy Pet Toys are the most durable toys available. All the layers of this toy are bonded and sewn together to make one "Tuff" Layer. Most toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. We sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff. Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety. 7 out of 10 on the "Tuff" scale.

What a Joke...these come with a 5 DAY Warranty!!!!Very disappointed this didn’t last 30 days. My lab likes his stuffed animal and had hoped this was as tough as advertised. It’s not! He’s doesn’t sit and chew in them but likes to bite and then shake it around. A loss of money.

My 185 pound great Dane does his best and this is one TUFFY toy!!! He loves it. In fact, we have 2 dogs, (the other only 65 pounds-but a tough chewer) and both dogs love their TUFFY Toys! And the fact that they play together with them, carry them around, and pacify & chew on them and all our Tuffy"s have survived, is amazing!!! The only toys we"ll be purchasing for our tear "em and leave "em canines,.. will be TUFFY TOYS. They are literally the only toys we have found in 10 years for the 65 pound American Blend, lol, and 2 years for the 185 pound Great Dane that have lasted. Although TUFFY Toys seem expensive, consider ALL the wasted money on toys that lasted maybe a few days and you worry if they swallowed the squeaker or stuffing! So if you add those vet bills into the equation, TUFFY's are definitely worth the price. Plus, you and your Canine Best Buddy will have a wonderful time together or when they are playing alone with their toy! Enjoy! Highly recommend!!! ... show more

I wanted so badly to love this toy as it was supposed to be durable however it didn't work for us. My 2 year old bull mastiff shredded it within an hour of giving it to him. He absolutely loves the toy as it squeeks and was large in size but the stuffing was everywhere leading us to throw it away that night. Best for smaller to maybe medium sized dogs. Tuffy products are some of the best toys I've found for my extreme chewer. Yes, she will chew through them to get the squeakers within a few minutes, but that will happen with anything you give her. She can not completely destroy these toys within minutes, and usually they have enough squeakers that it takes her multiple play sessions to get them all. Her ultimate goal is to seek and destroy the squeaker, but with Tuffy toys, she's also happy just to chew the toy w/o that reward. I've purchased at least a dozen Tuffy animals and get anywhere from 1 to 6 months out of them. This hammerhead shark lasted about 3 months...with some serious battle wounds for most of that time, but that's how long it took before it had to be tossed. ... show more

My lab loved his previous shark so much that when it died he was very distraught. I was worried at first because this brand discontinued his old shark but thankfully he’s taken to this one amazingly well and sleeps with it every night. It is extremely durable and I know it will last years even with constant chewing. Would highly recommend for anyone with a super chewer pup like mine. ... show more

    • Persistent Chewers Aren't Stopped By This

My dog is a young husky and when he find a spot on a toy that he likes to chew on, he will continue to chew on that spot. Not sure if his intent is to rip that spot open, but that's what he's done on every toy so far. This toy is no exception. He ripped through the tail in just under a week. I have two other Tuffy toys that he hasn't ripped through yet, but his focus was the shark so we'll see how fast he goes through the other two since she doesn't have the shark anymore. ... show more

    • Tough Material but Dogs Will Find a Way to the Stuffing.

My dog loves stuffed animal toys but he can usually get the stuffing out in seconds. However, he will also carry around the toy once he has removed all of the stuffing. He removed about half of the stuffing (there is a surprising amount packed in) in a few minutes and then seemed content to carry it around. A day or so later he removed the rest of the stuffing. What impressed me about the toy was the outer stitching. The hammerhead shape is still very intact besides the holes he removed the stuffing through.
