I was so happy with this "Pony Saddle Pad" that I bought a second one. I have two 36" miniature horses of average weight and had in mind to purchase a second pad, only if I was satisfied with the quality of the first. This pad has a nice thickness (not too heavy or too thin), is well-made and I'm very happy with the color choices. (I bought green and burgundy.) I embellished one with faux fur trim and the other with faux sheepskin trim and attached elastic "cinches" to them so I would have "Pony Express" blankets for my minis to deliver Christmas goodies to my neighbors. This pad is not a "pony pad" unless your pony is at least 14 hands tall. Nice pad, but not made for an actual pony! The pad swallows up my 12 hand pony.
