I have been struggling with my dog stinking up my covers for quite awhile. If there's something dead and rotting outside, that's an invite to roll in it, amongst many other disgusting habits that smell... It's difficult at times to focus in on the stank until she gets in the house. Anyway, she sleeps with me, not under the covers but at the foot of the bed. I would wash my quilt at least once a week. I put a sheet to cover the bottom of the bed and it ALWAYS ended up wrapped in some kind of ball and she's STILL on the quilt. This awesome thing came up and I had to snatch it up! SCORE! The cover is big. The dimensions are on the description but for some reason, I just didn't picture how large that really was. I got the size to fit a Queen bed and it does! It fits side to side and comes right up to my chin and a little over the foot of the bed lengthwise. The top of it isn't really soft, not plush at all but has tough fabric on it and the squirrely stitching all over it to keep it tightly next to the waterproof stuff on the bottom of it. It is very much utility not so much for making a fashion statement. But you're sleeping, it doesn't matter... The color of the cover is true to the description and does look nice and well made. The waterproof rubber stuff on the other side is of GREAT quality. It's thicker than most and I've washed this thing at least 5 times but I've lost count. The rubber doesn't scrinch up and look used and gross. It comes out looking new! With the rubber stuff, it doesn't slide all over the bed when the dog takes a running leap to "HER" bed... I haven't noticed any change of temperature with it being over me either. I thought maybe it would with the waterproof stuff keeping the temp in. No rips, punctures or snags from giant dog claws either. She is past peeing on the bed but sometimes barfs that foamy chewed up grass on it. That doesn't go through. I'm so thrilled to have this cover! It works just the way I wanted it to. Of course, 5 stars as it's AWESOME!

I have 5 dogs and we live on some acreage. Need I say more? My wife has become the expert on couch protection. She's tried everything from deterrents to form fitting covers. But this is the one that she LOVES! It washes up easily and looks great after. It's soft so the dogs love it and it's waterproof so I love it. We have an older dog drools a lot and this cover completely keeps the couch dry. My wife wants to order more now. This is the nicest one so far!

I think I was expecting a moving blanket type that is thicker and comfortable. This one is thinner, but it does resemble a moving blanket. This blanket is currently on my bed and has done its job a few times now. It has handled dog hair and vomit well. The blanket is stiff, rough, and really not cozy as a sleeping cover, but would be ideal for a bench seat or trunk in the car, or a crate. One feature I must have overlooked is the adorable little rubbery grips on the opposite side. They are shaped like dog heads and actually seem to grip. Often times, I seem to find the printed grips are just for show. There are so many of them that I really can see them holding well on certain surfaces. It even catches on my comforter. If you keep it on your bed, you won't be swimming in fur as much, but you will lose viewing your cute comforter or duvet underneath it. I wish it was a bit thicker, but I will say it is easy to shake out how it is. I guess it all depends on your pets and personal needs.

We have a couple older cats that have trouble making it from laying down to the litter box without having an accident. Sometimes they barely get stood up and they start dribbling. We have tried diapers, but the cats won't keep them on. This blanket has helped keep the accidents off our actual bedding and it still lets the cats enjoy a lovely, comfortable afternoon napping in the sun. The blanket is stiff and a little difficult to fit into a regular washer, but both those issues are easy to work with. If you catch the accident quickly enough (you are right there when it happens), you can just wipe it up quickly. I have found that the material will take a little bit to soak up any liquid, which is great because you can wipe the liquid off and most of the time, the smell doesn't soak into the material. We also found that this blanket is a great potty training under pad to keep mattresses dry without having the kid sleeping on a plastic bag type mattress cover. My son says it's like sleeping on a well made bed with your favorite comfy blanket to cover you. I would suggest air drying the blanket to keep it stiff and because it is really big for a regular size dryer.
