If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: We have been trying to maximize the space in our garage which is where our laundry machines live. I took all (I thought) measurements and figured out that the 29.5" version of this system would do the trick for us to free up the footprint of our dryer by stacking it on top of the washer. Likes: * This rack is solid. I have seen similar shelving systems that use thicker steel, but the way that this is designed is super intentional. The walls of the steel tube are 1.2mm which is kind of the bare minimum for this type of system, but because of the bracing and tube size this is actually engineered extremely well. * I like the adjustable shelf height. I imagine most users will set it once, but it means that the manufacturer only has to offer two models instead of six. * Installation was super easy. The rack is kind of heavy, so you may need a friend to help you out. * They claim that it will hold 660lbs. I can't imagine anyone has a tool that requires 660lbs of storage capacity, but I did sit my 250lb carcass on this and there was no give. The storage capacity feels like more than most users will ever need. No likes: * I stupidly did not measure up. We have a row of cabinets above our washer that ended up blocking this from being an effective solution for us. I will eventually move the cabinets but that's yet another project I can add to my loooong list and I'm not sure when it will happen. This is obviously not the fault of the shelf and I did not deduct stars. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: Make sure you measure all dimensions before ordering, including your appliances! This is a well-made rack and as long as you have room it should help save space in your laundry area.

Doesn't feel super sturdy. I had to put it in the top position for my new Samsung washer. In that position, there aren't any guardrails left to hold the dryer in place. So I'm not sure this is going to work for me after all. It was fairly easy to put together. And I suppose with a little bit of reinforcement I can make it work. But I was hoping for something that would be workable right out of the box and that's not this at least not for my application.

We got this to hold our very heavy pizza oven. The width is great to fit or oven. The stand is sturdy and really easy to put together. I did some measurements and it would barely fit above my washer. IF you double check your measurements that this will fit over your dryer, it is a great option. I like how this can stack your washer dryer giving you extra storage space. I would say that this option is a little high price wise, but it is good quality, make sure it will work for you before you order it.

This is a really sturdy and heavy unit! The metal legs and frame feel thick and have no "give" to them. For $200 you can have a ton of extra functional space by stacking! I feel like that is money well spent. You could also use it just as counter space over a single appliance. The "wood" laminate looks pretty nice as well. It was a lot more substantial than I expected. I haven't assembled it yet but have looked through the parts and they are both packed well and easy to understand. My W/D are newer and about 27" wide each but I got the larger size in case I upgrade someday.

Bought the biggest one I could find, still not tall enough to install the top back bar. Not as sturdy as I would hope. Had to anchor it to the wall to keep it from swaying back and forth with the dryer.

Amazing shelf. It organized the corner of my office and it holds well and sturdy after installation. I got the 29.5" one and I didn't account for the true length of it, so I had to move some stuff around. The title mislead me into thinking the whole length was that, but it didn't say it was the inside length. No biggie though as it perfectly sits in the space I put it in. Installation was easy to do and it's very adjustable in the height of the shelf and the feet, so it doesn't wobble once on the floor. Above and below has ample space and I can put stuff on top and have my mini fridge on the bottom with some spare space on the side. Admittedly though it's a bit expensive for what it is and I think it could be cheaper, but you get a sturdy piece of storage shelving for your washer and dryer, but for my case it's my fridge and random stuff that I plan to organize with the help of this.
