*Update* 11-21-2024 With more fiddling and troubleshooting, my husband found out the controller was defective. I did send the drone back to Amazon for a refund. I was also able reach out to the sellers customer service, and they have helped out greatly on sending us a replacement. I bought this as a gift for my husband. annoyance is the app they have you download does not work for every phone. He had to use one of his older phones for the video part to work. It has a setting to be able to fly in home, but it struggles to connect all the time. We tested it outside and It was constantly trying to sync up with the controls. A couple of pics I took with the drone at 219 feet according to the flight log on the app. Fun to learn how to fly and a great starter drone. The app LW Pro is what you use but the directions on how to use it is not very clear. No real organization to it either and not all options are explained well or not at all. But I knew that when I bought a second one on sale with two batteries. Since this is my first drone I've nothing to compare it to. I used one of my old cell phones rather than my everyday cell. But also love all of the features it has and the 4K camera and the video as well.

was almost an exciting 5 minutes. First couldn't connect with the cell phone. Once it got in the air, it just kept going higher and farther away on its own. I finally tried to bring it back eventually pushing every button I had on the remote and it was GONE. Searched open fields, back yards, knocked on residents' doors and also fields that had vegetation for 2 days. Found nothing. Serious waste of money. Will ask for a refund and pray since its gone. sad 8/28/24 update: this company is quality! They responded with several options for me. Highly recommend them as a company that values its customers and stands behind their products. Don’t know how to change the rating but they are now ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 in my book

This is my first drone. The markings on the remote aren't clear. To fix this, the manufacturer could make them bigger, or make the surface smooth under them. Not very stable. Drifted a lot. Wind resistance level: 1: drifted about a foot per second 2: video very shaky as it tried to adjust; drifted up to several feet a second 3: video super shaky; nearly lost control of drone as it drifted away several times Signal was poor. lost contact with my phone several times. Seemed to be worse in higher winds. Return-home button on remote didn't work. Tried it 3 times and nothing happened with the drone, but remote did beep. Signal loss also didn't seem to trigger it, even though my phone said it was. Low battery DID activate return home, which was great because I lost signal and couldn't control it. Landed about 15 feet from me, and about 10ft from where it took off. Only 1 battery. Takes forever to recharge (manual says 640 minutes to recharge). App isn't very intuitive... text isn't translated to english very well; icons are confusing sometimes. Manual does a bit better explaining what each thing is in the app. App is called LW Pro on Android. Indoors: mostly unusable due to drift and complete lack of obstacle avoidance. No GPS lock indoors, either. So no matter how many times I calibrated gimbals and magnetic orientation, it would drift into something unless I took action to counter the drift. No consistency or pattern to the drift... would drift up or down, left or or right or front/back, or spin... stayed relatively flat, but would drift in any combination of directions. Remote doesn't have a screen, but instead uses your phone. The spring loaded clamps were so minimal and short that my phone frequently fell-out. Almost useless to me, although it kinda works. Price has risen 33% since I got it, so definitely not worth it for anyone now. Gonna send it back.

I'll start off by saying this drone is alright. It does everything a cheap drone can serviceably, but most of what is in the description is simply not true. It cannot go 220 meters (721 ft.), more so maybe 50 meters (164 ft) before the connection to your phone becomes horrific and you will not be able to safely fly it. Also, another thing I noticed is that no matter how far your drone is away from your phone, whether that be 10 feet or 50, the view will lag quite noticeably. Picture quality is subpar at best. My biggest gripe of this whole drone, and I do not know if its my drone specifically, but it will not take off 3/4's of the time. I've read the manual, calibrated it before every take off, and nevertheless it simply will not take off. Battery last about a half hour which is acceptable. Long story short, I'd say if you're getting into drones stay clear of this one and save up a little bit more money for a better one.

The media could not be loaded. A+++++ customer service, they are phenomenal, fast, and friendly This drone is Perfect for my intended purposes of learning to fly one and getting images of my roof/places I might otherwise need a ladder to check out 🏆 If I decide I want to spend a bunch on a 4k movie making drone later, I will be able to make that decision with full confidence. The carry case is really convenient for keeping everything together and transporting. It's stable and much easier to adjust drift compared to the other little drone I tried out before getting this one, just keep in mind it’s not rated for high winds. A bit of a breeze is fine. Good image color and resolution for the price. Also customer service is very responsive and helpful for any issue that you might have, so I feel confidant about this purchase and look forward to using it a lot more in the future
