  • The quickest route to a smooth running TTR.
This worked perfectly. Time will tell how it holds up, but it fit perfect. I did not adjust anything. I installed it, put fresh gas in the tank, and kicked it one time. Idles perfectly, and runs wide open or anywhere in between without issue. For the price, if it doesn't hold up very long, I'll just slap another one on and keep on rolling. It's quicker, easier, and probably cheaper to replace the whole assembly than to do a carb job. I've read about people having issues with these, but on my kids TTR125, it runs as good or better than it ever did with the stock carb. You may need to drill a slightly bigger hole for for the throttle cable to attach to the cap, Otherwise, it's plug and play. Just my 2 cents. Good luck. I recommend this option. ... show more

  • Working Direct Swap
I was skeptical on this fixing my jetting and cold starting issues but it works fantastic! Swapped the slide and choke pin that came with it and only had to replace the vent tube with the supplied line because it’s slightly smaller than stock. The petcock brass stem wasn’t mounted in the housing which I think rattled out in transit but I didn’t use the petcock anyways. I would recommend brazing it in if you are to use it. Besides that it fired up great cold and running fantastic. ... show more

  • If you suspect the carb is worn or somehow defective - replace it
My son’s bike started to leak gas out of the overflow. I would clean it and check the float valve, that would fit it for month or 2. been messing with my son’s carb for a while, finally just replaced and it, made it easier to start and it ran better. No more leaks. Worth the money.

  • I was skeptical, but this carb works great!
So we have lots of bikes and I've always been a OEM or nothing guy because I just don't want to waste time with junk. With that said, over the last year or so I've been trying more and more aftermarket carbs, sometimes because they can get here faster, are cheap, and sometimes its just for troubleshooting. I've been very impressed lately and decided to try once again a carb for this TTR125 I just picked up for my son. The carb came quickly and came with the petcock which I also needed. Seems well built and I expect it to last. I gave four stars for ease of install only because it came with NO instructions and I had the guess on the vent lines a bit since this carb was quite a bit different from the OEM one. At any rate, I installed it and didn't adjust the idle or fuel screw whatsoever and the bike started immediately. Idled a bit low for a second or two and then after a few minutes I did drop the idle slightly but that was it. I'm impressed! ... show more

  • Not for TTR 125! Jets, bowl, body, all different.
Jets are different sizes versus stock carb. No cross-compatibility at all. Drain nipple nonexistent on this carb. Won’t start my TTR 125LE much less run the thing. Very very frustrating experience because I thought I had adjusted the carb wrong, but I followed Yamaha instructions of 2.0-2.5 turns out on the air/fuel screw and gradually let out the idle screw to try and run it. Big jet in this carb floods my 125, terrible quality, not worth a penny and very poor utility. ... show more

  • 1 out of 2
Bought 2 of these for a 2004 and 2005 TTR125L. 1 seems to be working fine but the other has a leak out of the bottom of the bowl. The float nub inside the bowl was cracked and the outside of the bowl shows the outline of this numb. It looks like a molding issue but it still passed inspection. Also, the o-ring inside the the bowl area that wraps around the main needle jet is split and and about to fall off. I took too long to install these carbs and now past the return date. I used 3M 420 epoxy to seal the leak. Time will tell if it holds up. Giving 3 stars since only 1 carb worked. If you purchase this carb, open the bowl and remove the o-ring pieces before installing . Also, the silicon tubing is too large and falls off the hose bibs. I was able to reuse the existing tubing. Good luck and fun ridding. ... show more

  • Perfect fit, bike runs great now
I was apprehensive, but for the price it was worth a try to replace the problem carb that was on the bike. It is very similar to the oem mikuni, fit perfectly and the bike started right up. Only required a slight idle adjustment and it runs great.
