I have two dobermans, both around 95 pounds, one who chews ANY toy open and the other that rips it apart piece by piece; they work as a team. I was hopeful to try this toy as it seemed too deep for the chewer to really get a good hold of, and, from the pictures, had nothing sticking out other than the loop at the top which I planned to cut off anyway to avoid it being swallowed. I received the toy fairly quickly, and my dogs immediately LOVED it. The squeaker is a bit small, but that doesn't seem to deter them. However pretty much straight away the chewer found a tag of fabric that was sewn in and began ripping at it, managing to open the seam right beside it. If I had known about this tag, I wouldn't have purchased. I've hand-repaired the seam and been dividing out playtime with it so it lasts a bit longer, and so far so good. They still love it! ... show more

We got this bird on Monday and on Thursday it's head is destuffed and break is almost torn off. I think if it didn't have the hair which my dogs wanted to remove this creating the tear for them to destuff it would have lasted longer. In will say it lasted longer than any other we've tried. The body and legs are still good to go. I do love that it's squeakless. We also got the platypus and it is all fully intact, so overall we have this 4⭐️ because these are pitbulls and they're known for destroying stuffies lol ... show more

Love the squeaker and the colors. Did NOT like that the Mal/Shi promptly ripped off every possible bit of yellow fluff/fur/whatever on this toy. Yellow fluff in odd places around the house - at least she didn't puke or crap it out. Still . . . she did so want to eat it. Once that stuff was gone, it turned into just another chew-toy for her, which she plays with sporadically and usually only if the Doxie shows some interest in it. ... show more

I didn't realize how big this item was, or how heavy duty it is. I got it to replace an old donut toy my dog kept bringing to me, even after the squeaker and stuffing were pulled out! But this one...it is definitely for tough chewers (which my dog used to be, but as he's almost 9, I think he gets too tired to "work" on it as much as he used to his other toys) and larger dogs. My 40 lb. doodle doesn't seem to even be able to carry it around! lol. If you have a very destructive dog, this toy would be perfect! ... show more

Our puppy LOVES this thing. The silent squeak and the crinkle noise it makes seems to really interest him. He chews and chews and this toy has survived like we can’t believe. He plays tug of war with this thing and puts some serious leverage into it. I’ve already bought an extra just because he loves the thing and will be devastated when it finally succumbs to his constant efforts to tear it apart. He’s probably 55 lbs now and it’s still hanging in there. Can’t recommend it enough! ... show more

Pachino is a Thai Ridgeback, so he has a razor jaw pattern and shreds things. He also loves erratic incessant squeak seshs.... The silent squeak MUST work based on his reactions. I don't have to freak out telling him to stop he just works himself up to exhaustion. I can deal with the tear here and there. But man...partner with that tuffy toy company and add a line of plush tuff silent squeak toys and the $$$$ would roll in... Just saying. We got this as a Christmas present for our 11 year old Australian Shepherd. He really does enjoy it and chooses it as the toy de jure often. There is no toy that is indestructible, I get that. Our boy plays very hard, but he's not a chewer / destroyer. But, two weeks in, Penguin is going to need surgery to stitch up a major back laceration along the seam. No regrets though. I bought this toy due to the fact my yorkie loves to make loud noises while I'm on the phone. So when I'm on the phone she gets this toy. She loves it and I get quiet. Thus the 4 stars. I gave it one star for its durability and chew proof as my dog will rip this thing apart within a week if I let her play with all the time. ... show more
