Truglo sites are good for an upgrade at this price point. I purchased for the G23 gen3. They go on as to be expected, but you must remember to back out the screw which assists in the placement of the rear sight. do not forget the blue lock tight for the front and rear after windage adjustments. they look durable and the sight picture of orange is visable for quick acquisition of targets. I have used these as well as trijicon and others. I use orange for me other colors are dependent on your preference in shooting style. ... show more

Have seen several reviews stating that these sights are "of poor quality" or made from "soft metal". In my experience, they are of high quality and made from hard "metal". Someone even complained that he needed to buy a sight pusher to install his sights. Yes, you should have a quality sight pusher to install these, and any other night sight! Like a lot of tritium sights, you are not supposed to "hammer" these in! I have installed 5 sets of these sights in several of my guns. Some of them take more filing and sanding than others, but their low price makes it all worth it. I rather have a sight that I have to spend some time "fitting" than a sight that is too loose. If you are only going to buy/install these (or any other sight) on only one gun, then maybe it is not worth having to buy a sight pusher. Otherwise, go ahead and get the pusher. It is a tool that will last a lifetime, and you will save in the long run by avoiding gunsmithing charges. Besides, isn't it fun to work on your firearms? So far they are all working fine, none of them have failed in any way, and are as bright as the day I installed them (my oldest is about 5 years old). Great sights! I have recently bought the same exact type of sights from VR and I like these better. The notch between the rear sight posts is a little narrower, which improves accuracy and the sights are very easy to get on due to the large dot. Obviously the dot is pretty big, so you’re covering a lot of your target with it, so i wouldn’t use these for competition shooting but for defensive carry, they’re great. ... show more
