After I received this wireless keyboard and mouse the first thing I did was I fully charged both before initial use. Afterwards I read the manual to become familiar with the keyboard layout and mouse functions; both have a lot to offer. I strongly suggest fully charge both first and make sure both keyboard and mouse is turned off before charging. You don't need to install drivers all you have to do is plug the USB remote unit into your computer's USB port that came with this keyboard and mouse then turn on the keyboard and mouse afterwards. You don't need to turn the keyboard and mouse off after each use for both will go into standby automatically when the computer is not in use. This includes sleep mode, hibernation, or off. The keyboard layout and design is very nice and clever. The palm rest prevents hand fatigue while typing. The mouse is very comfortable and smooth to the hand. The scroll wheel, left and right mouse buttons respond very quickly thus causing the cursor to move and respond very accurately and quickly when performing tasks. The mouse has what is called a Jiggler function so get familiar with that function by reading your manual and experiment with it to gain a better understanding of how it works. The switch on the bottom of the mouse has three functions; 1. On 2. Off 3. Jiggler Mode. If you want the mouse to stay continuously lit simply pull the switch all the way down. If you want to turn on the mouse put the switch in the middle position. If you want to turn off the mouse simply pull the switch all the way up. The button with symbol directly to the left of the MI, M2, and M3 buttons turns the keyboard lights on or off. The keyboard light has 9 colors you can choose from. I prefer using the M2 key because I like monochrome. If you want to change to a different color while in monochrome mode simply press the M2 key repeatedly until you arrive at the color you want then release the M2 key afterwards. Both M1 and M2 keys have flowing functions meaning when the keyboard is lit you will get a colorful flowing effect. If you press the Caps Lock key you will see a green light come on in the far upper right section of the keyboard next to the green on and off keyboard light indicator. This keyboard and mouse combo is not a bad deal for the price and what it offers.

So I bought this keyboard back in July. And I absolutely LOVED it!! I've had my fair share of keyboards, mouses, etc. And this set is by far the best. I hit a little snag the end of Aug where my ctrl button on the left side had gone MIA and stopped working. I spent days trying to find a button that would replace it, so I could keep my amazing board, but had ZERO luck. I was able to get in contact with the seller directly and explained what my dilemma was. And how upset I was about the thought of having to replace the whole thing. They offered me a 10dollar refund to keep the one I had and use the right ctrl button, which totally wouldn't work as I do all the things I need to with my left hand. So they agreed to replace my keyboard completely with a new one. They sent me an entirely new set. My button is back! Everything works as it should, and I didn't have to pay for a new board! The sellers communication was great! They were so professional and kind. And it was only 1 day from the time they said they were sending me a new one to when it arrived on my door step! 10 out of 10!

I have purchased this keyboard two times for work which requires me to be on a computer for majority of the day. The first time I bought it I thought I just received a defective keyboard, as it completely stopped working within a week of buying it. This was without keeping the lights on which I'm sure drain the internal battery. Tried switching multiple USB ports & nothing would connect. Had to go back to using a cheaply made wired keyboard that ironically didn't cause any issues. Thought i'd give this another shot since I really liked the way it typed, as the keys were quiet & the weight of the unit was light but sturdy. I got the second keyboard and all worked fine, & this morning a few months later with daily use its gone completely unresponsive again; Switched all the usb ports to reconnect, & nothing. A keyboard at this price point shouldn't be struggling to keep up with a 9-5 job. $8 wired keyboards outperform this thing by a landslide, so i'd suggest to all who are considering this as an option to heed my warning and save yourself the grief and money. Find yourself another option that wont let you down. Pros: Looks great, sturdy, portable, & light. If youre into the lights, it looks nice when its lit up. Cons: Its going to die if you use this thing for more than a few hours a day, even when keeping the lights off of it. If your line of work relies on a keyboard, have a backup ready for when this ultimately breaks for no reason.
