This a good case overall. Two things go against it. 1. With the case the phone will definitely be bulkier and heavier, noticeably. 2. DESIGN FLAW: unfortunate placement of the power button. The case should begin to charge your phone when you press on that button once. Well, if you put your phone down (screen facing up) just a little too hard, the case will start the charging process without you maybe noticing. The same goes if I tried to put the phone on a phone-stand or if I put it in my pocket. Generally, maybe not a big deal. But the batteries don't like this on and off games. Bought the case for my work provided phone since it would have to always sit on a charger when not in use or else it dies within 2 hours of normal use. With this case, the phone battery lasts FOREVER. I don’t really charge it more than 2-3 times per week. I’d say for a full battery on both your phone and case, make sure to charge it overnight. Wish it were a little more protective and had more grip but that’s not really what I bought it for so no complaints here! ... show more

Edit: dropped to 3 stars because it doesn't connect accessories. ONLY charges. When charged up, it works well and will help me extend the life of my iPhone 7. When both the battery and phone are low, it takes all night to get them fully charged so the fact that the charging cable doesn’t snap in securely OR remain connected is a bit of a problem. On my upcoming vacation I will take the phone out of the case and charge them separately just to be safe, and I’ll carry my old battery pack too, which is what I was hoping to avoid. Overall though, I’m happy with it. I think it’s giving me about 3x the runtime but could be more—I haven’t put to the test of a full day of vacation fun, yet! It’s heavy but not bad, easy to hold, and I think a popsocket will be a good addition. ... show more

Hated to retire my phone when I upgraded but it was uncharging as battery was losing holding power. I decided to try this, so I could have a back up phone if my new one didn’t work out or I forgot to charge it or whatever. Although a little bulky, it certainly nice to be able to only have to charge it once a week instead of twice a day I definitely recommend this.
