  • Works with Equus Air Suspension Conversion.
Style: SCA43438
I returned these only because front sits too low. My car is 2014 Hyundai Equus (Curb weight 4500+ lbs). These struts will work on an Equus, except that front sits less than 1" below fender. And because the shocks are compressed more than they normally would be on a 09 - 14 Genesis sedan (3.8 or 4.6, 3800lbs ~ 4000lbs), the rider is a stiffer than what I was looking for. I returned these only because the front sits a little too low for me, but this could totally work out perfectly for someone else looking for Equus' air suspension conversion. I went with G80's shocks, from TRQ, the part number is SCA43437. ... show more

  • Don't Get Screwed!
Style: SCA57191
After about 14 months of use I took my Murano in for an alignment and was told that both front struts were bad. I contacted the seller A1 and they shipped me a new set of struts which I installed. To continue the limited lifetime warranty, I was to return the original struts. I boxed them up addressed the package in order to ship them back. This was at the beginning of the Pandemic and I had just lost my job, so I was not in the position to spend about $40 to return the struts. Several months later, I had to move everything out of my storage space and no longer had room to store the original struts. I still couldn't afford to return them, So I had no choice but to discard them. Fast forward a couple of months, I began having a rattling noise in the front driver's side of my vehicle especially on bumpy roads. It several weeks for me to finally identify the problem. On my Murano, the top of the strut is not visible unless the strut is removed, hence my difficulty identifying the source of the problem. What had happened is that the self locking aircraft nut on the top of the driver's side strut had become lose and the top of the strut shaft began moving up and down and causing severe damage to the top of the strut shaft and the metal top of the strut which holds down the spring. See the attached photos. As you can see the top of the strut shaft has been worn away by about 40%. I had no choice but to reassemble the strut and make sure that the nut was tight and secured with thread locker. This has rectified the noise problem, however I am now driving a vehicle with structural damage to a key suspension part that could snap at anytime! I contacted A1 and because I cannot return the original struts, they refuse to warrant the current struts, and my warranty is now void. If I could afford it, I would buy new struts from a reputable company and replace them. Unfortunately I'm still unemployed and cannot afford to. So thank you very much A1 for your understanding, compassion and top notch customer service! (To be clear, that is sarcasm.) ... show more

  • Great product / perfect fit
Style: SCA57208
These Struts went on very easily it took 15-20 min a side with all the correct tools which honestly isn’t many. the ride height was restored and the ride was a little harsh to begin with but after a short time they settled in & are much better. The SUV handles like new. I was a little hesitant to purchase them but I’m glad I did. I just took a vacation trip in this vehicle and it drove & handled perfectly on twisty mountain roads highways Turnpikes and harsh rock roads, dirt and uneven terrain wasn’t even noticeable. No leakage / no odd noises or sounds / 07 Equinox tires was checked & rotated after the long trip they found no signs of wear/cupping or anything unusual. I would purchase these again with no hesitation. They was installed July 20th 2024 it’s now October/22/24 3months no issues. This vehicle is regularly maintenanced and has been consistently serviced & maintained since I purchased it. it now has over 200k miles on it, it’s a daily driver, runs perfectly, I have the tires rotated ever 2 oil changes, I will update this if any issues arise on these struts. ... show more

  • Straightforward Installation, Nice New Ride Again, Bargain Priced
Style: SCA57285
Was dubious about what a very low cost strut assembly would provide in quality, but was pleasantly surprise. Sure, the box arrived like it has been dragged behind the UPS truck the last mile, but the struts were not damaged (only the box). The only issue I had was that the new strut tower securing nuts were of a real low quality and did not have adequate coverage over the mounting holes (were smaller in diameter, despite being same thread size). So, I used my factory strut tower bolts, instead and all was well. Would buy these again, if they last 120K miles, like the factory ones did. ... show more

  • Perfect Fit, Easy Installation
Style: SCA31151
Saved a lot of money by ordering on Amazon and installing myself….There was a bit of extra work being they went on a Ford Edge, but that was more on Ford than the struts themselves…Bolted right up…Highly recommend
