My factory headlights were getting pretty wore out and despite several tries at refurbing them through the years they finally got to where sanding, polishing, and sealing was no longer working right. So with the prospect of needing to replace them I started looking at getting a new set. Seeing the OEM GM housing costs and having my eyes water, I went through researching aftermarket options. Most have terrible reviews with condensation, cracking, or fading plastic so it was looking like I was going to have to pay through the nose for a set of OEM lights. Then I remembered on my old Silverado I went TRQ years ago for a set of replacements and they lasted and never gave me any issues. With that in mind I pulled the trigger on this set. Out of the box (which props to the care taken on packing these housings in the boxes), these look just as well constructed as the factory housings. Plastics feel quality and not brittle or cheap and the wires seem like silicone insulated wire making them quite flexible and likely more heat resistant. Fitment follows as well with them lining up perfectly with little fiddling needed to get them to follow the body lines and the plugs going in with no trouble. I did try them with the halogen bulbs they came with and they do work quite well, however I have a quality set of LED high and low bulbs so I dropped those in as shown in the pictures. Overall these are great housings and for the price an absolute steal of a deal. Given the issues with the other aftermarket housings (and that most don't include bulbs or wiring anyway) don't even bother with them and get these. Now mind I've had these less than a day at the moment and my review is just based on initial reactions, but I'll report back in a year if I have any issues or items of note. ... show more

Perfect fit for my mom’s 2014 RAV4. Install was easy (even with taking the bumper off) thanks to the excellent TRQ video on YouTube. The only thing I did not realize is that bulbs are not included. I think it's important to know when ordering this that you won't receive any installation instructions. I was OK with because there are numerous how-to's on YouTube. I was able to successfully install both right and left headlight assemblies. This did involve removing the front fender and grill as well as other flashing and wheel well rims. The headlight casings are straight forward and held in place by screws on the metal car frame. There is no place to adjust angles. After install the headlights are awful. There is a straight line of darkness cut about 30' in front of the car while driving and you cannot see anything further afield. If you were to stand in front of the vehicle this line hits you right at the waist. Imagine that level while driving on a highway or down any road at night. You cannot see anything. The highbeams work just fine. But it is clear to me that the aftermarket manufacturer did a terrible job at designing the main headlight function. I cannot safely drive at night and have to find another solution after spending 5+ hours and $500. ... show more

Long read, but this shouldn't happen. For a moment when I saw the "Eagle Eyes" name on the ID label I considered returning these, until I got a better look at them. I ordered these to replace an existing pair of Eagle Eyes (part# HLA88556) that were aimed at the sides of the road, and into the treetops simultaneously. I bought the car (2002 Buick LeSabre) a week before and discovered that the space in front of the car wasn't illuminated to speak of. I tried to aim them correctly, and discovered that they wouldn't move at all. So I removed them, and one of them wasn't apparently assembled correctly, because the adjustment linkage wasn't connected, and the other one simply didn't work. I'm very unimpressed with my first experience with this brand, but the replacements came aimed very close to the correct height, and pointed in front of the car instead of into the ditches. Reading through the reviews for that part number, I discovered that someone else had the exact same issue with them. Everything else about them was fine, but the car wasn't safe to drive outside town. Someone paid a decent amount of money for a product that should have been caught before it left the factory, and I paid to replace it. I installed them just the other day on my 2005 Tacoma and they went in just fine. The lights they come with are great and we just had to angle them correctly, they also look pretty sleek. Great option for an offordable pair of headlight assemblies. Would recommend.
