The item description for this product states that it has a "strong long lasting scent." It was my hope that it would be strong enough to use in my great room. The room is large enough to encompass our living, dining, and kitchen spaces. But it is by no means a massive room. The description also states that this product is intended for bathrooms, so I wasn't terribly surprised to find that it did not have enough oomph to really cover the space. Finding that the scent was not strong enough to have any effect in my great room I thought I would give it a try in a bathroom. This room is about 10 x 5 feet, so fairly small. Again, I was disappointed in the strength of the scent. It just doesn't carry. Maybe it would be enough for a closet, but as a room freshener it just won't do the job. The diffuser itself is really pretty and well made. It comes with a stopper so that it can be stored without fear of spills. The reeds are a lovely silver color that is much nicer than those that came with other diffusers I have used. This is a very sleek and stylish diffuser set. I just wish that the scent carried farther. Edit: after several days the scent from this diffuser is a tad stronger, so I increased the number of stars in my review. It is still not enough to use in a room bigger than a bathroom, but better once the reeds have had a few days to soak up the oil.

Would not buy this again as it was a big disappointment! Anxiously awaited it only to open it and it doesnt smell like anything almost like plain water with only the tiniest of scent faintly to it, definitely not like it should as both jasmine and sandalwood are usually pretty strong scents. Wont recommend or buy it again for sure especially not at its price. Thought it would be a good deal for the size it was but turned out to be a waste of money.

We are using this in a half bath. It does not overwhelm you when you walk in to the bathroom despite the rooms smaller size. It has a nice fruit smell. Not floral or some under tone that lingers. It is a little pricy compared to some other diffusers but the smell is much better than some of the cheaper ones. Depending on if it will last for 3 or more months will determine whether it is worth the price. So far, so good.

I know smell and aroma can be different for many. I don't think this smells good at all. Can't put my finger on what it smells like... maybe car oil. I don't know, but I don't like it. The good this is the smell is not strong and or long lasting. Lucky me. The only good thing is the bottle. It's very pretty and can be used for a better scent. That's the reason for 2 stars.

The Jasmine Sandalwood Reed Diffuser looks terrific in our guest bath. Both my wife and I like the scent. It is woodier and more natural than perfumy scents. We find it strong enough that the diffuser works well with just three reeds. The vase looks elegant fitting in well with our decor.
