  • Awesome scope, get it!
Size: 1-6x Style: CTM2
This is a great package, scope, a very solid and sturdy offset cantilever mount, bikini covers and an awesome affordable scope.....I have the newer version of this scope the Navigator 1-10x24 FFP which the reticle illumination is brighter, in fact daytime bright whereas these claims to be daytime bright; but it is not in my humble opinion. Don't get me wrong, it is bright enough during a sunny day, but it is what I like to call Daytime Visible but not Daytime bright. You can be the judge by looking at the pictures on this review (***Correction*** I realized that the reference to the brightness of the reticle is in reference of the newer version the FFP Navigator 1-10x24 not the 1-6x24 Mariner, the Mariner is bright enough but not as bright as the Navigator. The pictures are of the Mariner though!) The glass seems clear edge to edge, no noticeable distortion. The reticle is very well made clear and sharp. The turrets can be re-zero and will align 99% perfectly. The clicks are slightly mushy, and they are semi- audible and semi-tactile but good enough. The zoom ring moves smoothly and with hardly any effort especially because of the lever that is included with the scope. All and all a great scope/mount for any price really.... The chevron reticle allows you to be very accurate, check the pictures. You can see the reticle brightness from different angles in a bright sunny day and aiming at different color backgrounds. The last pictures of the reticle were taking on an overcast rainy day, with the illumination OFF, setting 3 middle brightness setting and full brightness setting 6. And at last, that is 3 rds of .223 55gr touching each other on a metal target from 100 yards away! Awesome scope, get one now before the price goes up lol. ... show more

  • Best Price to performance LPVO on the market
Size: 1-6x Style: BDC-S
Considering the cost of most LPVO's, the price to performance of this LPVO is outstanding. The glass is incredibly clear, so much so it corrects my vision without my glasses on. The reticle, even without illumination is incredibly easy to see. I didn't personally mount it on a real steal gun, I bought it for airsoft, but I loaned it out to a buddy of mine who mounted it on a real steal ar15 and reported no shift in zero. The illuminated reticule is also incredibly bright, easily surpassing daylight bright at max settings, but being just shy of red dot bright, which is really good for LPVOs. Unfortunately I cannot speak to the accuracy of the Reticle markings, as neither me or my friend tested them. Functionally, this LPVO is also great . The throw lever feels great and changing magnification from 1x to 6x is quick and easy. The 1x is also a true 1x WHEN SET PROPERLY. Most LPVO's that offer 1x typically have a 1.5 or 1.25x, but not this one. You must put the LPVO at a certain distance from your eye and set the diopter accordingly. Then you can achieve a true 1x to allow for passive aiming with both eyes open. The only compliant I have is the optic mount sits to low. I wish it came with a slightly taller mount so it can clear my laser module, but this is nit picky since this is only a problem at 1x, at magnifications higher that 4 is not an issue. Also most LPVOs don't even come with mount, and a taller replacement is only around 100 bucks if its really an issue. Zeroing is also easy as it features the typical half MOA dials for elevation and windage. Another side note, I cannot speak to the battery life as I never tested how long it lasts, however, on a medium setting, I played for four hours without any issues, and replacing batteries is incredibly easy. Overall, 10/10 would recommend ... show more

Seems to be super nice quality . Attached easily , everything went smoothly. I haven't really put it through its paces. Yet, but it seems like it's going to be a good deal.

  • Better than the price.
Size: 1-6x Style: BDC-S
This uses the same tube as the Monstrum Panzer series, but is a SFP scope with a very usable reticle. For 1x it's a little busy, but for a rifle chambered in 5.56, it's not obstructing anything so much as to make it unusable. The top end of 6x is very usable at ranges this class of rifle would be effective, and if you're needing to range a target, you're probably going to already be at 6x. Past 100 yards, I'm already there, I'm in my 30s, so my eyesight hasn't degraded a lot, but I'm definitely noticing it's not what it used to be. The 1x is very close, even with my left eye being dominant the reticle is at point of aim with both eyes open after I cover my left eye. The glass clarity is not equivalent to a Vortex Razor, but the difference is so minimal that I cannot justify at all the price difference. It weighs more than a red dot sight, but less than many LPVOs. I don't have the money to engage in durability testing, but it feels like a proper scope, I'm suspecting I'd have to abuse it quite a bit. Refer to the various torture tests of Monstrum LPVOs, since this is clearly from the same factory, at the same quality tier. It absolutely is daylight bright. It stands out clearly on both the 5th and 6th brightness setting against my mounted light which is brighter than I'd like. I feel very comfortable with this being the optic on my home defense/field rifle, though I'm likely to upgrade to a Trijicon Credo in the future because that's a brand that has been tested and proven over the last few decades under serious use. However, if Triton can build up market share, I see them following the same trajectory as Vortex, and Monstrum is also a very likely contender in the budget-turned-premium race. When I bought my first Vortex optic, people were thumbing their nose at it, calling it cheap chinese junk, now they're sought after. Food for thought, don't discount the underdog who's copying the big dog's rise to dominance. In all honesty though, if you slapped the Vortex or Holosun logo on this optic, I think people would pay about $500-600 for it. ... show more
