This gel body wash seems to work well to remove chlorine and restore skin over just using soap. I swim in a heavily chlorinated indoor pool and this works well to remove the chlorine right after swimming. I like the citrus scent. the gel is a bit difficult to use and wants to fall off my hands as I try to apply it. Personally I think a simple liquid would be better. Usually we'd shower with our regular shampoo and body wash after the pool, but still smell like chlorine when we got home. After a few weeks of this (from swim classes every day and then just going 3x/week for fun) I'd had enough, and bought this. It's amazing!! I LOVE the smell of the body wash, it reminds me of lime skittles. The shampoo isn't as pleasant of a scent for me, but my kid loves it, and I don't dislike it. And most importantly, IT WORKS. The first time we used it, I expected just a little chlorine scent still when we got home, but there was none. It was amazing. We have used it ever since, and have recommended it to others. Seems to remove the chlorine better than any regular body wash I’ve tried but there is still a slight chlorine smell left afterwards. This stuff really gets the chlorine off of your skin. Your skin won’t smell like chlorine and it seems to keep you from drying out from the water too. My only complaint is that it’s hard to get a lather from it. The gel kind of runs away from you and if you try to apply it to a wash cloth it doesn’t seem to lather either. But over all it’s great and for me it keeps me in the pool because if my skin dries out and smells then I hate swimming ... show more

I do water aerobics 3 times a week. I have itchy skin but never put the two together until I was sick for a week and didn’t attend class but and then had no itchy skin. The reason I didn’t think it was the pool water was because it is a salt water pool and believed salt water was good for your skin. Salt water creates chloramines to sanitize the water and is not as harsh as traditional chlorine. Still, it can dry your skin. I used this the first time and it made an immediate difference. The gel is really pleasant and spreads quickly so you can use less than you think. Absolutely no chlorine smell after my shower. I usually apply a colloidal oatmeal lotion right after. The scent is yummy but it doesn’t linger so it won’t interfere with any perfume or cologne you wish to apply after your shower. I would highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin. ... show more

The body wash worked very good however I gave it a three rating because the plastic tube was horrible. The cap broke off and I had no way of keeping it on. Lost a lot of body wash and had to change to a different container.
