The rubber coated and slightly textured pattern on the legs provide an amazing amount of grip. The legs also provide the perfect amount of flexibility as well as staying sturdy regardless of what angle I bend them to. My only improvement suggestion would be for the manufacturer to change texture on the round dial that allows you to thread on a different mount or camera base. The media could not be loaded. I bought this primarily for my cell phone and GoPro to record while working on projects or driving. I think this is the best option for the price. Extra long legs make this a great option over the GoPro tripod I have. The phone mount is cheap, so I bought a separate one, but this is well worth the price I paid.
