  • Great quality
Size: Wall-Single Color: Black
Forgive the state of the desk - it's being used as a tool bench while I set up my new place. Got a 35in Monoprice Zero G (horizontal) on an extension (sold separately, same company, fantastic price) to reach the center of my desk and a Monoprice 34in Dark Matter (vertical) on the side. Wall plate I fabricated separately (not included) bc of existing anchor points that were already in the concrete. Arms adjust smoothly and quietly, which I was afraid of as these are mechanical springs not a piston. Very pleased with the quality of product and price compared to competitors, esp for the length I needed on the horizontal monitor (which was difficult to find without paying through the nose). Tensioning all adjusts perfectly with the included tool, and I appreciate being able to tweak this so that the monitor arms move fluidly and easily. Included spare screws were a nice touch. The plastic grip on the thumb screws is narrow, cheap, and hard to turn by hand, but a pair of pliers solved that. I would probably suggest to the manufacturer to get these printed twice as wide and in a better plastic, but it's not enough of a complaint for me to not wholeheartedly recommend this product. Product looks good to boot. I dreamed of a setup like this since I was a kid, and ErgoUnion delivered. ... show more

  • Pretty decent overall. Vertical Stack is a no go for larger monitors.
Size: Desk-2-Dual Color: Black
Monitors used: 34" Ultrawide Dark Matter (from Monoprice). Vertical Measurement: 14.25 Inches (in case anyone is also measuring to see if their monitor will fit stacked). Categories Review: VESA Plate: 3/5 No quick removal option. Makes removing the monitor in the future a pain. These should be standard anymore. Comes with half inch thumbscrews for attaching. Instructions: 5/5 Pretty decent instructions. Wish the pieces were actually labeled as to their function. Mostly just pictures but it does the job. Vertical (Stacking) Placement: 1/5 The real reason I bought these, as I wanted both Side by Side AND Vertical (Stacking) options in case I want to change layout at any point. Finding that option alone was a doozy and this seemed to fit the bill after hours of searching. Side by Side are fine with these but it's tight (product states up to 40" so I'm a bit suspect). Vertical Stacking does NOT work as stated in their product pictures. Super disappointed. Unless the bottom monitor is planted firmly against the desk, you aren't stacking these as they overlap about an inch or more. Won't be returning however, as they seem sturdy and Side by Side will be fine. Side by Side Placement: 4/5 Works pretty good with some maneuvering. I'm not sure how they expect 40" to work with the 34" being a tight fit already so keep that in mind. They many not be thinking of curved monitors in their measurements or perhaps I have some bizarre sizing on my monitors. Weight Capacity: 5/5 Seems to hold up just fine. Two 34" monitors are not budging by themselves. Able to move arms freely as well after tightening down for support. No super tight movement like some arms I've had in the past. Didn't expect an issue here, weight was under rated from description. Arms: 4/5 Arms are great once fully assembled and can move all over the place. Assembling is another matter. As there is no quick removal of the monitor (see VESA Plate above), you have to try and mount the last part of the arm while juggling your monitor with it. Also of note, the socket sticks randomly, like REALLY sticks. Tended to happen JUST as I was setting the monitor arm on (so not fully seated) and wouldn't budge in either direction. I think this was due to the weight of the monitor pressing down on it at an odd angle (which again, due to no quick release of the monitor). Would highly recommend a second person helping with this as a result. Can do solo just do it slow and make sure the monitor attached arm is setting down evenly (directly on top of the other arm attachment). ... show more

  • Wish I had this years ago
Size: Desk-1-Single Color: Black
I am a fine and commercial artist and I do a lot of digital work. When I added a tablet to the mix, my desk wasn't working out well with the tablet. This monitor mount can handle the weight of the tablet, lets me move it around - high, low, on the desk, angled - and meant I could keep the desk that I love because it had several mounting options. ... show more

  • You won’t regret it
Size: Desk-2-Dual Color: Black
Bottom Line Up Front: This is worth every last cent, incredible quality and it just works. Backstory: I’ve tried almost every monitor stand brand / style from the $40 cheapies to the $500 Ergotrons. When I was working in person, I had a wall mount Ergotron setup that was incredible. Once I started working from home, I didn’t want to pay $$$$ for the Ergotron and decided to buy one of the highly recommended cheap options. Fit and finish was terrible, adjustment options sucked, I had to fiddle with it constantly. This was the case for every other monitor arm I tried, but I was determined to not spend the big money on the Ergotron. Then I stumbled upon the ErgoUnion. At 2.5 bills it’s still a good deal compared to the Ergotron so I figured what the hell, let’s give it a go. When it arrived I was very impressed with the packaging. Solid foam, everything in place. Contrast this to Vivo who shipped everything loose in a brown box with zero padding. Setup was incredibly simple, and upon mounting my 27” monitor it just worked. I didn’t have to fiddle with adjusting the spring tension or crank down any Allen bolts to get the tilt and rotation working right. Operation is super smooth, it moves to where you want it to & stays. Contrast this to the Vivo where you have two options: “this shit is too tight to move” or “alright now the monitor is falling” I’ve got this set up with my main monitor and laptop in tablet mode, works perfect and allows me to pull the laptop close to me to use the touch/pen functions. Only “negative” I could say is I wish they’d provide an option to buy the arms separate, as I may want to add a second monitor down the road, without paying for a pole & base plate I won’t use. ... show more
