I really like that there is some flexibility in how to build the shelf. I wanted to do the 3 shelves, but my daughter changed her mind while we were organizing her room. Two separate shelves worked perfectly. The design is nice, it would look great with the different furniture in my home office or my living room. It has some weight to it so it’s sturdy, but it’s not too heavy to move around. I was able to put it together on my own, aside from asking my daughter to bring me over another board because I didn’t want to get up. The boards are thick, no flexing. The instructions were easy to follow. It also includes a QR code for a video, which I always prefer to follow (and it includes close ups of each part so you know exactly what you’re doing). I was a little intimidated by all the screws and such, but there weren’t that many pieces of the actual shelving and after starting one it was really easy to finish. Her room is carpeted, but the shelves were sturdy even when empty. The feet are adjustable if you do have an uneven floor, which is helpful if I end up moving these to the tile floor in the living room. While it’s sturdy, living in California, I appreciate that it comes with the anti-tip kit. It comes with everything you need to put it together. ... show more

Wanted a nice plant hutch/bookshelf and this piece has been absolutely perfect for my space. The ink black shelves match my new dining table, tv stand and coffee table perfectly mixing in seamlessly. It was very easy to put together and all pieces fit very well. The instructions were very easy to follow and I was able to put it together easily by myself within an hour. The pieces were a bit dusty, but cleaned up very well. Once put together, it is holding very steady, and I appreciate it has a wall harness that I have yet to put it up on. Everything came in the box as expected. The screw bag was ripped so those were falling out into the box. The shelves were easy to assemble. Directions are easy to understand. It took 1 hr and 15 min to put together. I did have to unassemble and redo one of the metal sides. I screwed the boards in with the screw holes for the criss cross back facing forward. Dont do that! Its not stated on the directions. The quality and color is nice and the shelves are adjustable but if you adjust one side you have to adjust all of them. Sizing is as stated in the description. This surprised me with such great quality! The wood looks so nice and the color is great- sometimes black can look cheesy and this one does not! The metal parts are sturdy, all the pieces have their own little bags, and the instructions are very easy!
