Durability is clearly there and fit and finish is great but for the objective size and the magnification range the depth of field is surprisingly low. This plus the inability to adjust parallax so you can't get the image and reticle in focus well is terrible. If it were close it would be alright but it honestly wasn't even close. The parallax being set to only 100 yards is what I suspect is the problem. Leupold's mk4 2.5-10 is way clearer and has a parallax setting of 150 yards. I don't know, but trying to follow anything moving while keeping both the image and reticle in focus is frustratingly difficult no matter how carefully and minutely one adjusts the diopter. Some say it's great but I truly question their ability to perceive scope quality if they truly think it is "crystal clear." ... show more

Great scope. Glass is very good, adjustments are crisp and precise. The zero stop is easy to set after zero and is rock solid. The mil Christmas tree reticle is great, easy to make adjustments without turning knobs. Very precise. Now the bad. Illumination is not daylight bright. Early morning or evening it’s fine, but not on a bright sunny day. Due to that the reticle is lacking on low power 2x-4x due to it being 1st focal plane. At 5x it’s getting better, 10x its great. All said it’s a really good mid power scope for the money. Really good. The only scope I’ve used that’s better is the Nightforce 2-10 and its 2nd focal plane and doesn’t have the Christmas tree reticle. Glass is almost the same between the two. ... show more
