  • this optic is truly amazing. I would recommend anyone that is on the ...
Color: Black Style: Chevron .308
I put this on my scar 17 as I have a precision rifle/scope combo for further precision shooting beyond the abilities of this 3.5 acog or my 16" barrel. That said, this optic is truly amazing. I would recommend anyone that is on the fence go ahead and take the plunge. I ordered mine 9-11 and received it 2 days later. I called trijicon to get the manufactured date and was told it was only 5 months old. Not bad considering the tritium won't need replaced for 14.5 years or so for me. Crystal clear glass, second-to-none ruggedness, and battle proven time and time again. I don't spend money easily on myself but can say 100% honestly that I have ZERO buyers remorse here. If you have a weapon platform you want to dedicate to quick target acquisition and reliable performance you can't go wrong here in my opinion. Also, if you have a weapon that's hard on optics (large caliber or really pronounced 2 stage recoil such as my scar) I highly recommend this setup. I also recommend you check out the la rue lt100 mount for it. That second photo's holding the scope with one hand the cell with the other looking through a dirty window with blinds and screen so not a good representation of clarity but it gives you an idea the size of the reticle. It might look a hair bigger with your eye closer than my camera but this is more less what you're getting ... show more

  • Steady As She Goes
Color: Green Style: Chevron .308
With a rich history of contracts and optics that simply have no equal, the 3.5x ACOG for .308s is a solid choice for fixed magnification optic. When others have gone shooting with me, I do have to explain to them how to shoot with both eyes open. The ability to do so is a major reason to stick with an optic of this kind. In a day and age of red dots with magnifiers and LVPOs, the ACOG stands apart by having this capability as well as the lack of batteries. As the tide of red dots has long entered the realm of shake-awake dots and batteries that last several years, the biggest benefits to the ACOG revolve arould the magnification, the reticle, and the ability to mount a micro red dot directly to the top. With the optic on a weapon I let friends and shooters new to .308 use, it has had several bumps and scrapes. Mine has not experienced cracked glass, loss of zero, or reticle tilt at all. I am amazed and grateful for the quality that is associated with Trijicon. For the price, there are so many options available. My recommendation in this optic is for the explicit use on 14-18 inch firearm with detachable magazines. I would purchase this again if I had a similar build again. ... show more

  • Bomb-Proof Optic, Clear Glass, Well Worth the Cost!
Color: Black Style: Chevron .308
I mounted this sight directly to an ACOG-specific mount on a FAL PARA. This is well worth the high cost of admission. The optic is bomb-proof. I dare say the rifle will probably fail before the optic does! You don't need batteries - the fiber optic and tritium gas illuminate the reticle. The glass is very clear and high quality. The chevron and ranging stadia are simple to use. The Bindon Aiming Concept - using both eyes and focusing on the target, not the reticle - takes some practice. At close range, you just paint the chevron on the target and fire. The cost of using a flip-to-side magnifier with a dot sight is almost comparable to this ACOG, but with very little advantage. The M-16 carry handle iron sight channel works just as well on the FAL - you can use the factory iron sights through the channel, though you'll really need a stock without a cheek riser to use the irons - with the riser to use the ACOG. Pic attached is of this ACOG on the FAL PARA. Out of the box, mine shot 18" low and 6" right. Within 40 rounds I was sighted in and ringing steel gongs at 200 yd. ... show more

Authentic product. Saved over $300 off what my local gun store was selling it for. Clear glass, great low/no light illumination. Warranty card, lens pen, scope coat, and case were all provided. The perfect way to finish my build.

  • Holy crap. This acog scope is phenomenal
Color: Green Style: Chevron .308
Holy crap. This acog scope is phenomenal. I put it on my scar 17s and the chemistry is great. I love how clear it is. It was very easy to zero and now I'm shooting hole through hole at 100 yards. Your definitely getting what you pay for! I can't think of anything wrong with this product. The shipping was right on time. Now I just need the tan scar 17 so I can buy another one of there. ... show more

  • Batteries not included (cause it doesn't need 'em)
Color: Green Style: Chevron .308
Decided to go with the Trijicon because it doesn't require batteries. Too many times in the field looking for spare batts. The optics are clear as can be. Using on a SCAR Heavy, the ranging reticle is somewhat useless for a sportsman, because it's designed to calibrate/range on a average size person with 18" shoulder width. Received after hunting season so haven't used it yet. I expect it will do fine for quick acquisition of target under 100yds and only hope longer distances are as productive. Case was damaged beyond repair when received, I contacted Amazon and they went way out of their way to make it right. So I don't have a case but I have a fine working scope for a discounted price. ... show more
