I recommend the quick release as well. The arrival also stays vary bright even in low lighting all without needing a battery. ... show more

It’s Like Cheating

I had weighed the options of various similar optics. I had never utilized or deployed this optic prior to purchase. However, I had done extensive research. To put it quite simply, the fixed for power optic is like cheating. Within minutes I had a zero on the optic. Even with cloudy skies the reticle was brightly lit. Very rugged, well-made and understandable why the military issues a rugged piece of hardware like this. Well worth the money. ... show more

Fantastic optic and worth the money. The glass is very clear and gives you a wide field of view. The photos I have uploaded do not do the reticle any justice. It is very sharp in reality and surprisingly bright. I have heard in other reviews that the eye relief is short but it's not nearly as much of a problem as I was anticipating. It's short but not pervasive. There is only one real downside. $1,200 is a lot of money for an optic that only has one magnification setting. But it is definitely one of those products that when you pick it up and look through it, you'll think to yourself "this is expensive." I'm very happy with it. ... show more
