I purchased this thing just to lay down and watch TV when my back was bothering me, and so just expected something reasonably well built and workable. Wow, was I ever surprised at this item. It is so comfortable that I swear I've fallen asleep on it and slept half-way through the night before waking up! It is sturdy, comfortable, light, and handy, too. The Mattress easily folds up into a tri-fold configuration, and then two handles are used on one side just to move it around, which is also easy because it isn't really that heavy at all. I think the thing that surprised me the most was how firm and comfortable it is: it FAR exceeded my expectations, and now I use it all the time. I've had lots of portable mats, mattresses, etc., and nothing has even come close to this. Nice touch: the material that covers the cushioning is all zippered, so you can unzip and throw in the washing machine to freshen up the covering (but not the inner mattress, of course, which would not even fit in a washing machine!). It looks nice, too, which may sound irrelevant, but when you have it folded up, you can put it up against the wall in an upright position, and it looks just fine. So, I can give this an excellent recommendation, and even though it looks a tad on the expensive side compared to others in its class, when you try it yourself, I think you may agree that it is worth every penny. Five Stars.

Is actually pretty comfy to sleep on. Use it as an ER bed for guest and if you car camp, pretty nice to put in truck or tent. Folds up nice and can be used as pet bed/couch or for kids mini couch too in rooms.

For only being about 3.5-4 inches thick, I was surprised to hear from multiple guests that it's very comfortable. I got 2 twin sized, I stack them on top of each other when I have 1 guest, separate them for 2 guests, put them together for a couple or co-sleeping parents to make a king sided mattress. Getting a 3rd one soon for extra guests.

Some people love this mattress, others not so much. Our arrived vaccum sealed and boxed. 24 hours after opening, the mattress did not fully expand and is quite uncomfortable. The section that did manage to expand was not quite 4 inches thick as advertised. From our perspective , the method in which it is packaged has a permanent effect on the mattresses foam material and in some cases may damage the foams ability to expand properly. Further more, in setting up a return, I am supposed to box up a queen size trifold mattress myself. That is quite ridiculous as I do not have the ability to vaccum seal a mattress nor do I have a box big enough to package this up. I am still looking for a way to contact the seller as the support email does not work. In my opinion, I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a trifold mattress.

Perfect size for turning my Honda Element into a mini-camper. The 39"w size is between a twin (which would be too small and a full which would be too large). To quote Goldilocks this one is "just right" and comfortable. Putting the small folding section at the back window and folding once makes the length fit exactly and it creates a pillow for my head. A few inches on each side means I can still access the Element's side storage in the back. I kept the backseats in the Element and fully reclined them and placed the mattress on top. I used storage cubes (with lids) between the front and back seats to extend the bed. The front seats can still be completely moved back so I don't need to adjust anything to go from a sleeper to a driver. Also I can quickly convert the back from a bed to fully functioning backseats with seat belts because this mattress conveniently folds up and can be stored in the far back along with the storage cubes. Many people who convert their Honda Elements to stealth campers remove the backseats entirely and make a platform bed to create storage underneath (which I considered doing). This was a much simpler and less expensive option.

Let it expand for 48 hours. each cushion with the cover reached 3.75" so not bad, definitely better than some people have reported on here. Unfortunately I only could sleep for about 1.5 hours before I woke up super uncomfortable. Just doesn't have enough support and isn't thick enough. For reference I am 6'1 180lbs. My 5 year old son could sleep on it im sure. I bought this to use on my boat as the dimensions for the captain berth match this single size really well. Tried it on my floor at home before I get stuck on the boat miserable. Glad I did. Gonna try a higher priced (different company) version on here to see if it is better. Your mileage may vary.
