Love Tribesigns! Great Printer Cabinet

This is the 3rd or 4th piece of furniture I have bought from Tribesigns. I really like the quality and sturdiness of this cabinet. I needed a little extra storage with my Tribesigns desk of the same color, so naturally I went back to them for the printer and storage cabinet. It matches perfectly. The large cabinet is spacious and the drawers are decent sized and perfect for my needs. The file holder rails do seem a bit flimsy and weak, but I was not interested in this unit for that feature. The metal frame is sturdy and provides a good base for the cabinet. The castor wheels are fine, nothing special there, but are easy to move the unit. Instructions were clear and easy to understand, it was easy to put together. Overall this is a great value and I really like the furniture from this company.

Just be mindful you're buying from Amazon.

The cabinet actually seems well built and I didn't have much trouble putting it together and tweaking the tightness of the door or making sure the drawers worked as intended. My main grip was the shipping handling. Amazon must be losing a handle on their quality control because the side of the box was very noticeably damaged, and the Styrofoam did not help protect the wood inside from getting scraped and damaged. On the bright side, it was on parts of the assembly that were on the rear of the cabinet and were not enough to warrant repackaging and hauling to a drop point for replacement, but it was not a good sight or feeling all the same. Cabinet looks good, works well, and fits where I want it too without trouble. Just understand the risk of buying from Amazon, or online in general.

Stylish Filing Cabinet, but don't try to roll it around.

Looks mostly like the picture and functions well. (Except for the casters on the bottom - they are cheaply made. It doesn't roll well at all!) Not really an issue for me as we won't be moving it around. There are a lot of pieces to put together so give yourself plenty of time. My husband and I put it together, but one person can do it. Overall it's a nice stylish piece for our office. The design on the front of the panels doesn't line up perfectly to each door like it shows in the picture, but it's not bad.

Poor quality

Drawers are very difficult to put in and after getting them in they were crooked. Then the small balls in the gliders that the drawers fit in came rolling out when I tried to put the drawers back in. I put the balls back in and tried putting the drawers back in and the same thing happened. I WOULD NOT recommend this product.

Decent quality for the price. Instructions are whack. Assembled myself, took 2 hours. Need a drill for sure, but not overly powerful. Was very messy (hand vacuumed almost every piece to get all debris off before I started) and some pieces were scratched out of the box but the wood parts were fine. Overall, a good purchase. Seems sturdy and lots of storage.

Good materials, but some of the pre-set holes lead to poor construction

The wood finished surfaces look nice. Seems pretty sturdy overall. Only two of the wheels lock so, unfortunately, the cabinet still moves easily even with them locked. The drawers are misaligned, even though I followed the pilot holes exactly to set the rails. The drawers operate fine but they’re visually not squared off to the rest of the cabinet and it bothers me to look at.

This is a self-assembly kit

The product description mentions that tools and instructions are included, but I didn't realize that assembly would take me more than 2 hours. In general it feels pretty substantial and the instructions are diagrams that are easy enough to follow with starter holes on the wood showing where to place the screws. However, on the last step you hang the cabinet door and the diagram shown is in a small callout bubble. It was obvious that this step could not be done alone as you would need one person to hold the door and another to put the screws in. I called the help line to see if there was a trick to this because even with a second person it was going to be tricky to hold the door steady in place while screwing the hinge to the cabinet. Support was friendly but ultimately the only suggestion was to use the starter holes to know where to place the screws. Currently I have the cabinet door sitting behind the until waiting for my wife to have time to help me. A carpenter or someone more experienced with this type of challenge may have an easier time of it.
