I really can’t say enough good things about this table. Assembly was a little annoying by myself but let’s be honest, when isn’t building furniture kind of annoying. It is gorgeous and so sturdy and looks like solid wood. I get complemented on it constantly. It’s really beautiful and well made.

This console table turned into a big problem. First of all, the listing does not say that this table is not supposed to stand on its own. It is not finished on the back side and it clearly states that the table should be strapped to the wall and it provides the equipment to do that. Well, after I spend three hours putting this table together, and I am quite experienced with assembly, I realized that they don't guarantee the piece won't tip over. Unfortunately, I planned to place this table in front of a window and from the other side, one can see large black screw heads and open legs. I was totally disgusted with the table but after three hours of screwing in over 200 screws and plugs to assemble, I decided to take my chances and place it against the window without strapping it to a support. Tables are supposed to stand on their own. This is something that should be called a "build-in console table". You getter know what you are doing and you better have strong hands because they don't recommend using an electric screwdriver either...everything was done manually. I took two Advil afterwards.

complicated to assemble and the screws were not tightened enough to make it tight, I had to use a drill to make it stable enough but it is beautiful

Great table for the price! Love the color. Was a bit worried about assembling after reading reviews but it wasn’t too bad, took my husband and I about 45 minutes.

I am not a big fan of this product. Assembly was not impossible like others claim. If you’ve never put together ikea furniture then yeah you may struggle big time. My struggle was accidentally placing pieces upside side and the amount of screws was insane. This product needs arrows or some kind of direction to help prevent placing boards upside down. I had to remove and redo parts to fix this. One of my boards was also missing a nut inside which has the threading to screw the nail in. I had to leave one screw missing (attached photo for reference: you will notice a wide hole with no thread inside). This is not terribly heavy and I have purchased a couple more affordable furniture pieces sparingly for areas that aren’t high traffic… but in my opinion, this piece looks cheap. It scuffs and gets damaged sooo easily. Size wise it is good and color wise the product is true to color (black) but I have owned black furniture before but this is ridiculously finger print prone. It just feels unstable and there are so many pieces that I think it just makes it look cheaper than it even is and it was extremely challenging to tighten the short wide screws because you have to use the L screw driver to tighten it within very tight spaces. If you have large hands good luck… My fingers were so red and I was very frustrated by the time I finished building this. In conclusion I would NOT repurchase this. I now feel stuck with it and I will probably just end of replacing it in the future unfortunately but in the meantime I’m going to try to dress it up a little.
