I approached assembly with caution after reading the reviews, and it was not that bad. I double checked each piece was facing the right direction and made sense to the end design before screwing into place. You put together the shelves first, which have the drawer rails on the outside. Then put the bottom and back on. One time we had to unscrew a section because it didn’t line up properly, but once we did it all fell into place. I added pics of the drawer rails as the direction of the wheels is not very clear on the instructions. Glad I purchased! ... show more

I purchased this as an extra file and storage for my office, if I thought that it wouldn't take an act of congress to return this junk, I would. This junk was so poorly packed that pieces of particle board was breaking off as I was removing it from the box. Yes, I said it, particle board is what this junk is made of. It is so poorly constructed that as I was putting this junk together, some of the edges wouldn't line up as I screwed them together. Do not buy! ... show more

I just got done building this thing. There are a few things to know: 1. The directions do in fact suck. I just figured people that couldn't read were upset about them. There are no words, its just pictures and the pictures aren't totally clear. It take some messing around with to understand what side is up and what side is down. What is on the outside and what is on the inside. MY advice, take the directions and put them right next to you when building. Its not terrible if you do it that way. 2. Not the most secure screws when it comes to the shoulder bolts. Word of advice. Screw them in just far enough so the screw section disappears. The top of the table was biggest pain for me. I got a few secure and called it good. 3. Its pretty sturdy. IF put together correctly its a nice piece of office furniture. 4. On the bottom where you screw the wheels in, there are suppose to be notches cutout to match the screws. In my model they were way off. I had to make my own holes. 5. It comes with a pretty good screw drivers. I recommend a drill for the screws in package B. 6. I didn't mind this put together at all. I think it got a lot of crappy reviews because the directions are that great. Just take your time and pay attention and you should be fine. ... show more

Don't go by some of these negative reviews. Some people just don't like building things and if that is you then do not get this item cause you have to put it together. It was easy to me. It took me about an hour because as a normal person I did put some parts backwards. But we all make mistakes and I was able to fix it with no harm. Needless to say it was about 19 pieces to put together not including the screws and handles. Fast and easy and it looks great. Also it arrived very quickly too. ... show more

I purchased this cart for craft and file storage for my new closet office/craft space. I love that it is on wheels and will easily slide out from under my table to use as extra work top space and then slide back into place for storage. I’m disappointed with how small the cubbies and drawers are though. Either this project didn’t give dimensions for the individual spaces, or I missed it. Would love it to be a little longer to hold a printer. All of the cubbies are 11”x11”. These are a decent size, but not big enough for the 12x12 card stock and other items I was hoping to store in it. The drawers are roomy, but the metal rods don’t feel incredibly sturdy. The drawer bottoms are very thin cardboard. Definitely a strict weight limit for the drawers, but I also don’t see that info anywhere right off the bat. ... show more

I don't know why, but I didn't realize is was going to be particle board. The directions were horrible and tooke me and my female companion--both of us challenged with these sorts of tasks, over three hours to figure it out. At one point we got out silicone potholders to try and manipulate some of the parts. Duh. The screwdrive they provided. But, point is, instructions were awful. Then, there it was, this big piece of blah. It was so cheaply created and wasn't what I imagined. I sold it less than a week later for half what I paid (which made me feel lucky) on FB marketplace and when the woman and I slipped it into her van she said, "Oh, it's not wood...." I know she wanted to give it back to me, but she said, "Well, I've come this far." It was a disappointment to me, to her and will be to you, unless you understand that particle board is particle board, and particle board looks like particle board. ... show more

A little disappointed because I love the look of this. The box was extremely damaged, and parts inside were damaged. It took me a while to put it together, but it wasn’t too bad, even alone. However, the top doesn’t fit correctly because the securement won’t tighten the top all the way. There was some damage to parts. The drawers for the filing cabinet are a tight and I think it’s due to misalignment of the way things fit together. It can be used so since I spent so much time putting it together and so much time waiting for it to arrive, Im using it anyways. I have tried to contact the seller about the issues because I’d like a partial refund for the damaged items but they have not responded back. ... show more

My husband and I were extremely disappointed with this. The assembly was unreasonably complicated and the shelves still do not align properly. And this is coming from someone who purchased several wooden furniture pieces from other vendors in the last month and had a great experience.
