It’s ok. The material is not as thick as I expected (feels like an average sheet material) and wrinkles. I wouldn’t recommend it for people with pets that sleep on the bed, their claws could cause rips. The set definitely needs a good ironing before placing it on a bed. The background color is more of a yellow cream but the florals are very bright and vivid especially the red, yellow and green. The colors look muted in the picture but are not. On a white bed in a sunny location the duvet set would be pretty. I think my cherry furniture and wall color just wasn’t the right fit for this set. ... show more

The print is pretty and I'm glad to have found pure cotton bedding but I actually thought this cover might be slightly heavier and just of better quality overall. I like it enough to keep it though. Glad I got it on discount from the amazon warehouse because if I paid more than the $60 I paid for it, I probably would have left a more negative review. It IS soft, which I'm happy for as well. Once I get my comforter and put this on, I'll see if I need to update this review. Update on 3/15/18: So far it held up through initial wash on cool water. I'm surprised none of the buttons on the duvet didn't fall off. There are pictures of a couple buttons to show how poorly sewn they are. I'm sure soon they'll fall off and I'll need to sew them back on. The stitching held up on the throw pillow covers even though I stuffed larger pillows than I should have in there. I wish there were buttons sewn on the larger pillow covers, or ties, just to hold the pillows in a little better. My cali king duvet insert fit perfectly inside so I believe ot to be true to size. It also had ties inside the duvet cover to tie to the insert. Overall, I still can't complain too much. It's pretty, makes our mismatched room look a little more put together than the millions of tiny blankets we were using. In all, I spent about $100 on the entire set with insert. ... show more

I love Tribeca sheets, and I am pleased with the quality of the duvet and shams. They always use fine quality cottons and do not lie as to thread counts. The colors are a bit off in the photo. The light blue shown in the small pillow cover as well as duvet is a deeper medium blue. The colors are medium blue, teal and golden yellow tree "foilage" on deep brown-tinged-red (puprle-ish) trunks, with a sparse amount of dark red flowers on cream background. The duvet has ties in the corners for the comforter. The fabric is thick, soft and mildly shiny. The two zippered decorator pillows are nice if you have the inserts - one is 12" x 22", which is an odd size that Amazon sells an insert $25 (down filling). The duvet is so thick of cotton that I plan on using it in the summer as a bedspread. UPDATE: after washing, the 12" x 22" cover was coming apart, about 2 inches worth, at a seam that had not been finished nicely as the rest of the seams were. The other cover had finished seams that won't fray but this cover wasn't finished the same and the inside seams are all fraying.It isn't a big deal for me to turn it inside out and run it through the sewing machine to fix, but have to ding them one star for quality control. **I am amending my original review and adding stars because, despite the original seam that was torn, this has held up well and is very pretty on the bed. I am also adding a close up of the print because of the question about the colors, though I'm afraid it all depends on the lighting when looking at these pics. It includes a dark teal and light blue in the flowers, as well as some red buds, and mustard yellow flowers with pops of a brighter yellow, all on purpley branches. Original review: I just opened this to put it on my duvet and one of the seams was misaligned during production and torn apart. Terribly disappointing because it is beautiful and I love the satiny finish of the material. Trying to decide if I can fix it or if I will have to return it because I needed it immediately. Normally for an issue like this I would contact the company before rating, but I have seen other posts about ripped seams upon receipt of these sheets or duvet cover. ... show more

Facts: - The inside on the duvet cover has ties in each corner that will hold the duvet in place. - The background off while NOT white. - Our mattress is 20" deep Cal-King and this duvet covers it well. - This set does NOT actually come with the two smaller accent pillows. It comes with the covers only. - The smaller pillow covers that I recieved are much darker than the picture. The blue is matches some of the darker flowers. Opinions: - I love the colors! And have posted a few pictures to show. I am still waiting on new sheets and some other accent pillows so my bed isn't exactly how I want it yet.... but I think the more pictures the better when it comes to helping others buy these types of products. - There were a few loose threads but I just cut them off and the duvet seems to be fine. I think the quality is great for the price. - It's not as soft as silk, but for sure, it is softer than I expected it would be. - I would recommend and I would buy again. ... show more

I absolutely love the look of this set. The colors are very rich and vibrant. The background is off white/cream not pure white, which is hard to tell from listing details. The fabric is soft and silky feeling. I didn’t have any holes but you can just tell the construction matches the prices. My only complaint is that the pillow shams are small, the back is always popping open, needed to be about 2 inches bigger. ... show more
