I purchased this to replace my traditional yoga mat in my office/home gym. It is thicker than a traditional mat, and much easier to clean. Simply wipe it down with a damn cloth and/or cleaning solution, and go! It also folds up and can slide between or behind things. I slid it behind a dresser, so it is out of sight when I'm not using it. Thickness provides a lot of comfort while stretching, doing yoga, or push-ups.     • It's a huge mat for a great price. Kids love it.
I use the mat to work out at home with bodyweight exercises, stretching, etc. It's not quite hard but it's not squishy either. It's just right. And as a bonus -- My small kids go insane whenever they're allowed to play on the mat. One caution -- It's still pretty huge when folded. Think about where you'll store this thing. ... show more

I use it for floor exercises and stretching. It's especially good when I'm kneeling...I got a knee replacement several months ago, and it's actually possible to put weight on my knees with this pad. I like that it folds for storage...better for me than something like a yoga mat that never lies flat because it's been rolled up. ... show more

    • Convenient size and nice firmness. Just what I was looking for.
I was looking for a mat to do floor exercises and practice getting on and off the floor. I am an AK amputee, with limited strength and knee flexion in my residual leg. This is a nice firm mat and conveniently folds. I'm short so the length is just right for me.
