My daughter was Carrie white for Halloween. The blood looked realistic. She accidentally got some on the outside of our car and it even smeared like real blood. It didn’t stain her face nor body like some people are claiming.. We have good soap Lol. The blood is a perfect consistency. I am a phlebotomist so I know blood, this can pass. If you pour it over the head (like we did) it’s not going to splash around absorbing like water, it kept dripping slowly from her head after it was poured giving it time to look like real blood, Which is great because we didn’t have to reapply. It does get messy so make sure you’re outdoors. It’s not thick like a syrup for those who want to know. I would say it’s like a pina colada mixer consistency. (If that makes any sense). I needed blood for a movie I’m filming, and purchasing this was probably the biggest mistake I’ve made. I opened up the safety seal at the top and the REMNANTS of the blood on the underside of the seal stained my hands for hours. My actor who we needed to see cleaning blood off her hands, had bright pink stained hands for a good twelve hours after filming. We even poured a crap ton of lotion on her hands to hopefully reduce the staining, but it didn’t do anything. It completely ruined the shot, and we couldn’t film any more of her scenes for the rest of the day. This blood looks fine for heavily bleeding wounds, but it will stain literally EVERYTHING. ... show more

I bought this to use on clothes for mine and my boyfriend's Halloween costume (The Purge). I applied it outside, using a doggy potty pad to put my clothes on while applying for easy clean up. I used it on a plain white shirt, and it dried a perfect dark red. I used it on a lace bralette which is more porous than the shirt, and it dried a pinkish color, but still a realistic blood color. To get the blood off of my hands after applying, I used dish soap, warm water, and a potato scrubber. I would definitely recommend this - the day of the event I'm attending, I'm planning on applying it to my skin as well. The bottle is a very decent size for the price. I don't have any complaints. I used this for a costume party Halloween 2016 for a convention. I splattered the blood with a paint brush and it looked great! My only draw back from it was that it peeled after an amount of time so I had to go back to my hotel to apply more. I was walking around all day though. I didn't have any problems with stains either. My white shorts had the fake blood dried on them for three days before I soaked them over night. They washed out just fine! It doesn't take too long to dry either. Oh and it's also too thick to use in a spray bottle, just a heads up! My reviews are my opinions of the product received and just my opinion. Everyone is different and could have a different opinion of a product. I do not receive any monetary payment for my reviews, and I always keep them honest. For a big cheap bottle of blood this stuff works quite well. It comes off pretty easily leaving only a slight red hue that can be scrubbed off or will wear off quickly. It's a little runny but if you need a wet, flowing blood effect this is great. Using only a tiny bit, the blood is a bit thin and watery but using a generous amount makes the blood thicker and a little more viscous. ... show more

Looks really good! I think the best part about it is that it doesn't stain; anything! Well, important. Yes, you will be a little pink on your skin where you applied a great deal of it, but a good scrubbing will get the job done~ But what I meant by was that if you get it on your clothing, it will come off in the wash. I didn't get it on anything white, so I can't speak there, but I feel like it would with some stain spray. Also! I used my makeup brushes to but it on and it cleaned out of them nicely and didn't ruin them! So get busy getting gory folks! ... show more
