I purchased book tree after I came across it searching for bohemian style storage for my 300+ adult coloring book obsession/collection. I I thought it was very unique looking compared to all others. As you can see in photo it stores great amount of large hard back favorite books. You can't beat the price either, but great deal! I actually have two. When the box was delivered I opened it and inside was another box labeled Computer Desk. I never bothered opening it because I assumed it was wrong and called customer support right away and they shipped out another box. I This time again box said computer desk but on this side was outlined picture of the correct book tree shelf. I missed image on first one. I I was happy so I got to keep both. I had two different male friends put them together. Like most men they refused to read directions. Lol stobborn. I they both started adding shelf to back one at a time and it was tricky. I read instructions and pictures showed to assemble bad and back, but put all the shelves together in zigzag fork. Then you add the shelves as a whole to base and back.For some reason both had one back screw unable to go in. However it was very sturdy and I was couldn't wait to put my books on display! I am overall satisfied.

I love these little shelves. Be careful when assembling. The shelves all look the same, but are slightly different in location of pre-drilled holes. If you take all the identifying stickers off, thinking you know what you are doing, you’ll have to build them twice. Lucky for me, I bought two, so I used the second to figure out which piece was which. 😂

Holds my thick genealogy books while sitting on floor next to my recliner. Hex screws easily screw into holes to hold the boards together. Do not bother to try to read instructions. My advice is to use illustration on second page, paying close attention to hole arrangement. I set it up on table as shown in illustration making sure all holes were aligned. Boards were stickered with numbers from 1 to 5 with no 2s that were improperly stickered with 3s, But once aligned on table all was well and it screwed together okay. I initially wanted to put it on table next to my chair but fear it would fall over and do damage to all around. So, recommend the floor to sit on.

I got this with a discount on this and another product of theirs, a L-Shaped desk, as a bundle. I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE HAPPIER. The assembly is a bit tedious and, due to the construction of the finished item, a little frustrating trying to make sure all the pieces are in the proper place and direction. It is a 2 person assembly, but I can attest that I did this by myself and with no instructions (someone threw it away). I just looked at the image and was able to put it together in under 30 minutes. The only thing that was time consuming was using the Allen wrench for everything. Love this and will definitely buy from this company again. The price, sturdiness and quality of the materials for this bookshelf and the desk are amazing for the price I paid. Came within 2 days via Prime too.

Wow am so surprised by the sturdiness of this bookcase and how cute and tidy it is. It's pretty easy to assemble, but pay attention to the hole placement in the picture. Only one screw didn't fit in the very last step (when attaching the base and back board to the actual shelves) but it is still sturdy without it that I left it as is. I ordered another one immediately, and might get one more for my work office.

I had hoped to hold a mixture of books on this shelf. It essentially only holds DVD cases/ small size books. Larger books cause the contents of the shelf to flip out. In addition, put this on a hard surface to prevent it from falling over. On a positive note, it would make a great bookshelf for DVDs and CD. Their customer service is also very helpful.

Perfect solution to hold the oodles of distance learning materials that continued to pile up without shutting it all in a closet (where it tends to become out if sight out of mind). While the shelves could pass for wood with the grooves and grain, one can tell it is still RTA (ready to assemble) furniture. I am still very happy with this purchase and it will be the reading book tree when things progress towards normalcy and school books go back to school.

This is a good value, just the fact that it has an unusual design makes it look nicer than a standard shelf. It was easy to assemble. Like many others, I found there was one screwhole misdrilled, but it didn't affect the stability to just leave that screw out. One caution with this item: be aware that it is meant only to hold only paperback sized books. It is so narrow that any larger books will fall out. I wanted it for piano music to set next to my keyboard, but it would not hold that size of books. I found another place to use it. Just pay attention to the measurements.
