I have had my Traxxas Teton for about 2 months and it’s been great it’s reliable and durable it works great indoor and is fast The only problems with it is the a arms break easily I would recommend getting a few spires it also overheats often but rather then that is fun and good value

Nice unit for the price. The axles are pretty weak. The motor gets crazy hot. Overall I'm impressed, and maybe spending a little more for brushless upgrade is the way to go. But as a casual user w my kids this is a good starter

Our son was so excited to received this for his birthday. The rc truck feels higher quality than toy rc cars. However, in the 2 months my son has had this, with minimal use, we have had to replace the entire truck with a new one. The motor on the new one was dead in 24 hours. Installed the new motor and then had other parts break. Replaced those parts and now the car will only rev but will not move. This has been a constant frustration and disappointment. Save $50 and purchase an off-brand hobby grade rc car if you want a better experience. My other son received a Two Speed Transit car also purchased off Amazon. It was $50 LESS and hasn’t had a single problem. We are so disappointed with the quality of this Traxxas model. ... show more

    • High Price, Big Hype… Huge Disappointment
My son was SO excited for this—#1 on his Santa list—and that made the disappointment even worse. Right out of the box, it was already broken. He managed to limp it around enough to play a little, but the plastic pieces fully snapped off almost immediately. For something this expensive, the quality just isn’t there. And the return/exchange process? A total nightmare. Amazon pushes you off to the manufacturer, and dealing with shipping and support was beyond frustrating. I really wanted to love this, but between the poor durability and the hassle, it just wasn’t worth it. Seeing my 8-year-old so disappointed sealed it for me. 2 stars at best. ... show more
