I had some problems with initial startup because the transmitter wasn't calibrated, but their website has EXCELLENT troubleshooting resources so I got that sorted relatively easily. Running this on 6s lipo batteries and I had no idea what I was getting myself into, this thing is startlingly powerful. This is only my second "hobby grade" RC car and it's a rocket ship. I haven't broken anything on it yet, but it's sure to happen, not because of poor workmanship or materials, but because when you have a 20lb+ anything that goes 50 miles per hour when it hits something it will break. I vastly underestimated what I was buying and I am super impressed. ... show more

Amazon 5 stars Let me first start out by saying this is no reflection on amazon, product was delivered in a timely matter and in good condition. The place it is sold by Traxxas has no care for the end user, if you receive a defective product or use a feature Traxxas claims to work, in reality the self righting feature will destroy the drivetrain. I'm not sure why they would even put something like this feature on the RC car if it destroys it, maybe to drive up their sales in parts and service. Buyer beware, for this premium price their is better options out there. Good luck if you have to deal with traxxas customer service, what a joke that was. ... show more

    • Amazing RC truck.
Have had a few different RC cars and trucks (including an Xmaxx) and this one is my favorite so far. Great handling, jumping, bashing, right out of the box, with stock setup. I chose 3s 5000 mah lipos and have been very satisfied. Any more power is just a recipe for broken parts. It’s a beast!

Been a traxxas fanboy for a few years. But can honestly say this is is the best RC yet. Super stable, super fast. And tons of fun. It's pretty tough so u can get by with out a lot of upgrading. 😊
