This item is a portable travel steamer for clothing. The overall size is about 5 3/8" x 3 3/8" for the base and 5" x 3" x 4" for the steamer itself. This is a 110v steamer so you'd neeed a travel converter if taking it outside the USA. It pulls upto 1150w so you'll want to ensure that your power source is able to maintain that rating if traveling abroad (or camping). The steamer unit has a handle that can rotate upto 180 degrees to ensure you the best steaming experience. The power cord does come out of the end of the handle and is just under 5-foot long. Under the handle is the water inlet which is sealed by a small rubber cap that has a plug inside to ensure you don't loose it. Beside the cap is a small window into the reservoir so that you can determine how close to empty the steamer has become. The base is keyed (as is the steamer) to ensure you can only put the steamer on it in a single direction. It sits flat and is great to have when the steamer is hot to allow it to cool down. As for using the steamer, the water is easy to fill with the included cup. The cup contains different fill levels with the maximum being 70mL. Once plugged in, the steamer immediately starts to heat up and indicates such via a small red light on the handle's power button. Steam is generated within about 5 seconds, but the heating light will remain on for about 1 minute. The heating element will cycle on and off over the course of usage and you must manually power the unit off with the power button once all water has been exhausted. In my testing I was able to use the steamer constantly for about 8 minutes before exhausting the water I had used which wasn't to the MAX line. Overall, this unit is small enough to travel with and works well enough for steam out wrinkles. While still hot, it also works as a nice iron. The power draw may be a bit much for small camping equipment, and the power cord may be short for some hotel rooms, but other than that, it works just fine and we'll be taking it with us on our summer travels. We would recommend this device for the price.

Disclaimer: All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it. Probably replacing my other steamer with this one instead! Really love the double duty! It’s both a steamer and a mini iron. I legit hate ironing so this is perfect. It’s also super small and compact, perfect for traveling. I just wish this came with a travel case or pouch. It does come with a little iron rest that you can place this on so you don’t burn anything. It also comes with a little cup to get the water into the steamer. A pouch to carry all this in would have made this perfect. Super simple and easy to use. Just plug in and go. You can use as an iron or when using as a steamer you just turn the handle 180°. Obvious steaming button. You could also steam while ironing as well. You cannot control the heat though since it’s not a full fledged iron so be careful not to burn your fabrics. The plug is also great quality. It’s nice and braided! This also comes in EVERY COLOR!!! You can easily one in your favorite color or the perfect color to match with your decor! Love this! I got the white one which is very sleek and classic looking with the gold buttons and trim!

Don't let this little guy fool you. It's got power behind it's tiny frame. The mini Travel Steamer Iron is portable, easy to use, and heats up very fast. There is a button to turn the steam on and it does seem reliable. The first couple of uses, I expected to see a little water spray but that's not the case. As soon as it's on, it's ready to go. Also, the handle can be turned, though only in one direction, to three positions depending on what you'd like and the surface you are ironing. The cord is a fabric cord, which is nice. One thing I will point out is there is no on/ off switch. In other words, as soon as you pug it in, it's on and hot. I was surprised how quickly it actually did turn on. Best off all, tiny and lightweight.

My wife wanted me to get this so she could smooth out some clothing she has, but I used it first. :) It is very fast to heat up and start steaming away. I used it to get some wrinkles out of a dash mat and it worked fantastic. Looking through the instructions, I was expecting to see something about using distilled water only. I figured that it should not be just plain tap water, but instead, it said to use purified water. (easier to come by than distilled for sure) The handle folds up and unfolds easily enough (might have been nice for a directional arrow but like I said it was easy enough to figure it out... "without breaking") The steaming surface seems to be stick free and easy to clean. The dash mat (new) I steamed had some residue on it that was picked up by the steamer but it cleaned right off. The water reservoir was easy to fill and drain for me, my wife wanted a small funnel to help with filling.

This mini travel steamer iron is great. I really like that it is small, not heavy and easy to handle. I like that it is well made. The body is made of strong and shiny plastic and the bottom is a coated metal plate. I like that the handle rotates and provides three different positions to best handle the iron. I like that it can be used as an iron and as an upright steamer. I have used it to steam wrinkles out of clothing and curtains. I have used it on thin and thick fabrics and it works great and fast. It has only one constant temperature but it worked well with all five different fabrics I used it on. I really like that it heats up quickly and the steamer is easy to turn on and off. The power cord is not that long so you would need to use an extension. I am very pleased with this product and recommend it.
