I read the reviews before purchase. After returning from a cruise with my new shiny beautiful pink hardside with 4 outside, go anywhere wheels, I decided I needed a soft sided set with outside pockets. My beautiful new pink set went with me on an airplane 2 years ago from Texas to Seattle for an Alaskan cruise. The airlines managed to do what they said could not be done. One of my wheels was half off and the luggage broke around the wheel. Since I wasn't flying anywhere for our latest cruise, we did a pretty good job of repairing this piece and I used it. Another negative of these new beautiful supposedly "indestructible" bags is no outside pockets for those last minute oops have to have items. It is frustrating to say the least to have to open up a bag for a couple of items. Get these while you can! Apparently, they are going to be a thing of the past. Thrilled with the quality of my new bags. I will probably be giving my cute, smaller pink bags (which haven't even been used) to my granddaughters for their birthdays. Buyer beware of the great new bags. My inline wheels are totally good enough. The trade offs are not tried and true yet! bags were inexpensive- and material not quality but it sure did hold alot and held up to many cobblestone streets in Italy and switzerald- 3 plane rides and 5 trains -all in one long trip- no issues!!! still holding strong zippers and wheels and no tares! was my husbands go to bag!

Returned & ordered a gray 2/ piece Fabric set for my husband & a pink 2/ piece set for myself. It's just right for 6 day flight & very reasonable priced also 2 neck pillows for $9.99 ea. from Amazon.

    • Very poor customer service
I am giving this set only one star because of the customer service. These looked like nice bags so we packed them up and set off to the airport for an adventure. Upon arriving at the airport we found that the handle on the large bag would not extend. Too late to do anything about it under the circumstances so just struggled with it. On arrival back home, there was a large tear in the second largest bag so it seemed that the luggage was not durable enough. We put in a request to Amazon to return the set. Evidently, this seller does not allow Amazon to handle returns so we were referred to the seller who informed us that It couldn't be returned because it was used. I wonder how one would know it f it were defective if one had not used it. Anyway, the seller sent us to the manufacturer who agreed that it could not be returned, but it MIGHT be eligible,for repair or replacement under the warranty. OK. We were sent a form to fill out with instructions that before we filled out the form, we MUST read the entire warranty. Done. They also wanted to have 2-3 pictures for each of the damaged cases sent showing the damage plus the front of the cases. The pictures had to be of a size that no one had to scroll down to see the complete picture. (Really?!). Also, a copy of the invoice from Amazon had to be sent in jpeg. form. OK. Got it. THEN we had to fill out the form stating the model number of each case which was to be obtained either from the tag that came on the case (riiight! I always save those. Who doesn't?) or obtained by going onto the company's web site to see what the number is. Surprise, surprise, there is nothing on the web site that tells what the model number of the individual cases might be. I took a quess, and proceeded to fill in the form with my name, address, city, state, country, email, and everything else except the hospital I was born in 72 years ago. Great! Ready to go! I hit send and error messages popped up. Much to my surprise, there evidently is no such place as the location of the house I have lived in for 36 years! Back to the drawing board. I deleted everything on the form and re-entered all the information, being careful to make SURE it was all accurate. Hit send. There is STILL no such location. I finally gave up and wrote to the company again to tell them of my irritation and that I intended to write a bad review. No answer for a week, so here is my review. If anyone would like a nice-looking, albeit non-functional, set of luggage, I would be happy to donate this one.     • add a bag strap on largest suitcase is too short to hold the medium one

I wanted two inline skate wheels with a built in add a bag strap. This is rare nowadays. 1. I tried to put the suitcases together, but the strap on the largest one was too short to hold the second one. Design flaw. 2. The luggage was a bit smaller than my ideal. I'm looking for a 62 in perimeter bag to replace an old one. 3. Exterior polyester and looks it. I usually purchase ballistic nylon, but it is hard to find a non-spinner in larger sizes. I did purchase some wonderful add-a-bag straps from Amazon, so I may have kept this set even with the strap problem on the largest one. But adding issues #2 and #3, I decided that it was three strikes regarding my preferences and returned it. I do think it would work for a lot of people though as long as you purchase an extra strap or just put two of the largest bags together when you travel - that would entail two sets. ... show more
