This backpack would be good for a carry on that would be able to slide under the seat or easily in the overhead compartment. Actually fits a 17" laptop even with the laptop in a protective sleeve. Lots of internal compartments that are zippered, mesh or pockets to hold various items. A couple of issues I had which led to me returning the backpack was that the front pocket is deep and would swallow up anything that fell out of the open pockets. When the backpack was full it would also bulge making it more difficult to fish things out of the pocket without having to removing things just to get room for my hand to go down there. The side pockets were too small to fit 20 oz bottles.

I really like this backpack. I enjoy the room this bag has, the ability to put my wallet and AirPods in the back security pocket so I know they are safe tucked behind my back. The laptop zippers come together so you can put a lock on them if necessary. I really like the blue color as well as the quality of this bag for the price. I have not had to text the water resistance yet but so far this bag works very well for what I need.
