I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better value in a backpack than this one. It has a ton of pockets, and then pockets inside of the pockets. I took this to Vegas as a carry-on and it accommodated everything I needed: a full-sized laptop, tablet, e-reader, travel router, two books, electric kettle, full-sized Beats headphones, two cell phones, chargers and cables, and a bunch of other stuff. And I still had room left over. If one travels light, this would be fine as your only bag on a weekend trip. As a carry-on, it's superb, with that wonderful loop on the back that slides over the handle of your roller. Quality is overall quite good for the price as well. Of course, it's not perfect. I could do without the branding on the exterior (MGB?), and I'm puzzled by the external charging port that's apparently just there for show (just a rubber grommet with no hole to the interior of the backpack). Those oddities aside, you could do a lot worse than this for your money. I have bags that cost more than $100 and are far less useful than this. At this price point, you can pretty much stop shopping now and add this one to the cart.

This backpack has quickly become my go to travel bag because it combines the capacity of a small suitcase with the organization of a really well thought out daypack. The number of pockets is almost comical at first, with pockets inside of pockets, but once you get used to where everything lives it makes travel so much easier. I have used it as a carry on for trips where I needed a full sized laptop, tablet, e reader, travel router, full sized headphones, books, chargers, an electric kettle, and clothing for a few days, and it handled all of it with room to spare. If you travel light, this could easily be your only bag for a weekend. The layout and access are standouts. The main compartment opens a full 180 degrees so it lays flat like a suitcase, which makes packing and unpacking much less stressful. There are straps to keep clothes neat, a dedicated shoe compartment, and wet dry pockets for toiletries or anything damp. On the outside, there is a quick access pocket for passport, phone, or chargers, side pockets for water bottles, a hidden pocket on the back for valuables, and a nicely padded laptop sleeve that comfortably fits a large laptop and feels much more substantial than a basic school backpack. It really is a true 2 in 1 laptop and travel bag. Comfort and build quality are better than I expected at this price. The material feels thick, tear resistant, and has a water resistant coating that has handled light rain without any issue. The padding on the back and shoulder straps is generous and breathable, so even when the bag is fully loaded it does not dig into my shoulders or strain my back on long walks through airports. The handle at the top is well padded and comfortable for grabbing, and the strap on the back that slips over a rolling suitcase handle is a simple feature that makes a huge difference for airport travel. There are a few quirks and personal preferences. The branding on the exterior is not my favorite and looks a bit generic, but it is not a dealbreaker. On one version the external charging port is essentially just a rubber cover, while another setup actually works as a pass through for a power bank inside, so it feels more like a convenience than a must have feature. With so many pockets, there is a learning curve where you will dig around a bit on your first trip, but that is no different than figuring out a new purse or bag. Color options like beige and pale pink look sleek and professional, though I might pick a darker color if I were planning to use it heavily for camping or hiking. Overall, the value is exceptional. I own bags that cost well over a hundred dollars and are far less useful and comfortable than this one. Between the huge amount of organized space, the suitcase style opening, the comfortable carry, and the thoughtful travel features like the luggage strap and well padded laptop area, it feels like a no brainer at this price. If you need a versatile backpack for commuting, college, weekend trips, or regular air travel, this one easily earns its spot. Pros: Large 40L style capacity that can work as a weekend bag or main carry on Tons of pockets and compartments, including dedicated laptop, shoe, wet dry, and quick access sections 180 degree full opening makes packing and airport security much easier Thick, water resistant material with good stitching and premium feel for the price Comfortable padded back and shoulder straps, plus a padded top handle Luggage strap on the back for sliding over suitcase handles Great value compared to much more expensive travel backpacks Cons: Exterior branding looks a bit generic and may not appeal to everyone External charging port implementation is more “nice to have” than truly useful in some versions So many pockets can mean some initial digging around until you learn the layout Light colors may show dirt more easily if used for camping or rougher travel
