I was a longtime bifold or trifold leather wallet user. I was skeptical about the trend of moving to more "minimalist" wallet styles. I was also somewhat concerned about the quality of the card ejecting mechanism and the security of the cards (i.e., would they stay in regardless of orientation or if it was dropped?). So, I've had this for about 6 months and the mechanism is still working fine and I got to find out about the dropping part yesterday when I dropped it after checking out at the grocery store. It hit the tile ground from a pretty good height and I'm happy to say everything stayed intact and there's no visible damage. It was loud enough that you couldn't possibly drop it without hearing it (and someone the next register over heard it hit and was nice enough to pick it up for me). Lastly, I had been worried about the limited cash it can hold. I really didn't want a money clip advertising that I have cash every time I pull it out. This option is perfect because you can carry a few backup bills without advertising that you have cash (barely can see it when it's in the little cash slot). Having this has also helped it sink in that I use cash so infrequently that it's not a big deal to give up the old bill fold. A couple decent-sized bills for emergencies/unexpected cash-only parking situations and I'm good to go.

Excellent wallet. My only gripe is that it is a little thicker than I would have liked. (It is the same thickness as my Samsung Fold 5 when the phone is folded.) I chose the leather version. It only holds one card in the front. But that works well for me. I put my employee badge there, and that allows me to operate the card readers at my employer's parking garage and building entrances without having to remove it. Errata I was wrong about the front pocket. My employer's mag reader will not read my badge when it is the pocket. That may be good news if you want to put your license or frequently used card in that pocket as I think it means the front pocket does have of shielding. The thickness may be a bonus for you, depending on how many cards you carry. I only carry 2 Plus driver's license and insurance card, so it is overkill for me.

This TRAVANDO Swype Slim Wallet is definitely a good pick if you're trying to downsize. What I really like is the way it handles cards – it pushes them up for you so no more fumbling around trying to dig one out. And even with that quick access, it still manages to hold a good number of cards without getting bulky, which is crucial for a slim wallet. I have 8 cards in it and they all fit. It's also got that dedicated side for cash, which means you don't have to awkwardly fold bills into a tiny pocket. Works well, and it's super convenient.

Got the XL version. Thicker than I would have preferred, but no fault of the product. Looks great, built really well, I expect it will last for a long time. Cards stay put, no issues with them sliding out, even when not completely full. Like having the extra slots on the sides. Initially the mechanism is pretty stiff, but I'm sure it will loosen in time. I'll update once I have had it for a while.

This wallet is great quality! I got the leather with money pocket. This thing feels like it will hold up for a long time. It does not feel cheap at all. I love the unique way the front turns and slides the cards out. Extra pocket in the front for your ID card and a money pocket in the back for bills. Holds better than a loose money clip and hides your money so it isn't hanging out. Secures the cash well when you slide it in your pocket. Overall, I love the slim profile and confident that this wallet will last me years.

BUY IT, just DO IT. You’ll love it. Been needing a new wallet for years. I had a skinny, leather, card only, and it was time for a new one. Read up on Ridge, and a few others but I needed one that holds more cards, and a few Ridge reviews and decided to pass. So I browsed around and got this one. I got the leather one, that’s the extra size with the elastic money holder in the one side. It looks high end, polished, the logo on the front, that’s where I put my thumb to slide feature the cards that pop up. OBSESSED w this new wallet. The leather makes it look and feel very expensive. The durability, the hard casing on the sides, I was worried about the thickness of it but it feels just like any other wallet would. GET THIS THING! You’ll love it and your husband, boyfriend, whoever, will be glad they go it!
