UPDATE - This sellers customer service is top notch! I'd give that portion five stars if I could. They promptly refunded my purchase with zero hassle. Verdict; you can't go wrong with this seller even if you choose incorrectly. (original review follows) Clearly not 1" openings as advertised. I give it 2 stars though because shipping was extremely fast & other than being too small, it appears as well made as a plastic/acrylic organizer can be. But, when people are trying to determine if what they have will fit in this organizing tray, sizes need to be conveyed accurately, PERIOD. To clarify; the openings are 7/8" x 15/16" ID (inside dimension). I didn't measure the depth. I purchased 2 of these to store my model paint bottles in which are just under 1" square. Very disappointed that the openings are smaller than advertised. Though the first red flag should've been when the advertised length of the tray was 5.75 inches. How can a tray with six openings that are 1 inch wide fit within 5.75 inches?? Anyway, buyer beware... ... show more

I ordered this late at night so I guess misjudged it's size. Read the dimensions. I thought it was smaller than I expected. That said, bigger would have taken up too much space probably. It has a lot of individual slots into which I added my lipsticks, lip balms, lip pencils, concealer crayons, concealer sticks, etc. I don't move it around so not testing sturdiness.
