If you know accumulator springs inside transmissions, this product is for you. I found a broken one in my jeep. This spring fixed it. It would hold first, or not shift at all. A fairly easy fix if you are mechanically inclined. It takes about an hour to replace. If you don't know, this is a very messy job, you want to be ready to get dirty. Be prepared to get oil off the floor before you start. A transmission shop would charge you an arm and leg. A fairly green mechanic can do this job and save a lot of money. ... show more

I have a 1998 Durango with a 5.2l engine and the 42re transmission. The part that I recieved does not fit. The listing clearly indicates the part is in the fitment
