Description

Compatible With: Chevy GM TH350 deluxe rebuild kit with ALTO Red Eagle friction clutches and Kolene Steels is a complete transmission rebuild kit. This rebuild kit includes all of the high performance Red Alto friction plates, kolene steel plates, sealing rings, metal clad seals, gaskets, o-rings, rubber piston seals, high performance Red Eagle band, filter, modulator, bushing kit, bearing kit, washer kit, and governor gear. These clutches are put through a process where the friction paper is saturated in a phenolic resin, cured, and then saturated a second time in a silicate. The silicate imparts high heat resistance.

The parts were all there and seem of good quality. It would be nice to have the 5th clutch/steel option included for direct/forward drums. Have to buy additional clutches for the modification. This kit was fantastic. I cannot attest to longevity since it has not been run for very long yet, but I can say this: this kit is very complete, especially compared to other kits. Not only does it have all new alto clutches and steels, lip seals, etc. but it also has many small items such as shift shaft seals, speedometer seals, a new govenor gear, accumulator sealing rings, the whole 9 yards. It is also ready to accommodate slight th350 variations. For example, it includes thrust washers AND bearings for just about every mating surface depending on what your transmission had. It had several different thrust washers of varying thickness to set input shaft end play, which is a plus. It even came with new check balls, internal govenor filter and pump filter. The only cons I can mention are the lack of case savers and a new speedometer gear, and it would be fantastic if it came with even a small pack of trans gel or assembly lube. ... show more

Most complete kit I have seen all the extra bushings bearings seals and different gasket options The only thing I can complain about is the pump and governor screens were missing I did consult Amazon and the vendor mailed the screens right away good product

So far so good about 50 miles in to the rebuild. Best shifting ive felt after 2 rebuilds with other kits.

    • Great kit overall but doesn't include a shift kit
The kit is very complete and a good buy for someone not wanting to have to piece together a good performance transmission rebuild kit. However, after reading the reviews I was under the assumption it included a transgo shift kit, but as of March 2020 it does not. After going back and re-reading the description it doesn't list a shift kit as part of the package. Not the end of the world, but something I wanted to point out to potential buyers. ... show more
