This mannequin has thick, beautiful, soft, synthetic hair. I tugged on the hair and it does not come out. This mannequin has proportional features compared to a human head. It’s skin is rubber not plastic like my school one which I actually prefer. This is SYNTHETIC hair which is important to remember because it cannot be used with high temperature curling iron, straightener and also cannot be chemically treated. This Mannequin does well with practicing cutting, rolling perms rods, sectioning, braiding and used with clippers. For most state exams in barbering especially Master barber, you’ll need two mannequins. This one will serve its purpose at a fraction of the cost. Very silky hair, but extremely knotty and some hair falls off too. I practiced a dutch braid for the first time, and you have to be really patient with the knots (especially the ends!) The media could not be loaded. I bought this mannequin head to model my Yoyo puff cruise duck hair clips that I sell on Etsy because I needed videos for my listings. I didn’t want to spend too much because my hair clips are at a very low price point. Being under 20.00, this fit the bill! She is perfect! Yes some hair falls out but not a lot at all. The hair is easy to brush and work with. Her facial features and head are well defined and proportioned (great on camera). The weight is perfect for balance without using hardware. Ok so lets be honest i bought this the first time and canceled it right away because of the coment i needed to practice my braid technique like u can see in the video i came across so manyy bad coment that when it finally arive i was so scared about it been unsefull and im so glaad i still bought it i recomend you get a big comb to untangle no brush no small comb NOO. A BIG COMB why? Because its easier it doesn't tangle as much i find that it sheds more than a human but somehow i still got a full head of hair no bald spot at all impresive parting might be a little frustrating at first its not a real scalp but i found my self that if u spray just a little bit of watter not soak it it helps big timeee last thing dont get frustraded if you bought this for the same reason i did practice braid and at the bottom part of the head its always loose i have tightened the most i can and it still does i guess thats where sintetic hair does diference but dont let that stop you its normal with product i may say i dont think its necessary because its not real hair and its only gonna make it harder to start over if u didn't like the style spray watter bottle does just fineee jt comes with a holder works fineee maybe get a stool so u can hold it better and practice it moves a lot like if u were trying to do braid on a kid that dont stay still but agaiin its part of it nothing to blame it on the product its worth it i got straight 26 inch black hair i wouldn't say other hair type will be the same i love it i left a video so u can see everything and i prove you can braid it don't laugh at my practicing skill we all have to star some where so dont stop practicing ... show more
